Which Way Are YOU Going?

The road to success is not straight and please STOP allowing people to give you wrong directions!

There is a curve called FAILURE….

A loop called CONFUSION….

Tons of speed bumps called FRIENDS….

Red lights called ENEMIES

Cautions Lights called FAMILY

You will from time to time get flat tires called JOBS

BUT………If you have a SPARE tire called DETERMINATION and an Engine called PRESERVERANCE

Your spirit will never be able to fully lose GAS because you chose a  driver named God….

Now, You indeed have no choice but to make it to a place called SUCCESS

Most people want to choose their OWN DRIVER and that is why the place of success is really the ROAD less traveled because only Jesus Christ can get you there!

Age Doesn’t Matter

It was nice to see my son STILL “promoting his faith” even though his friend was over the weekend….. He did NOT appear to be embarrassed or ashamed which made me VERY happy!

Age does not mater and if you are able to speak and think, then SHARING about Jesus Christ is do -able! The weekend was interesting and went how GOD wanted it to go!

Be A Christian Witness! Despite Age! Despite Color! Despite Social Class!

“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” (Acts 1:8)

A witness is a person who tells what he knows. Our job is to tell lost people what we know about the Lord Jesus Christ and His saving grace. A religion worth having is a religion worth propagating. If you are saved, it’s because someone took the time to witness to you. Well, YOU should witness to others. Tell others what Jesus has done for you, and what He can do for them. Learn some good salvation verses from your Bible and tell others! Invite friends and family members to attend church services with you so they too can hear the Gospel and be saved.

Before you were saved you were like a candle without a flame. Then God took one of His lighted candles (a Christian– Mat. 5:15) and gave you light. Now He wants to use you to give light to others.

One hundred years from now, you won’t value the time you spent watching television, playing sports, or being entertained, but you’ll place great value on the time you spent trying to bring lost souls to the Lord Jesus Christ. So now is the time to purpose in your heart that eternity is what matters most and your life needs to be filled with eternal investments. Your Lord and Saviour said, “Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” (Mat. 6:19-21)

My Bedtime – Random

Hopes and dreams stimulate our mind and feed our very soul. Nothing beats waking to a day we’ve never seen before. Chasing a dream we’ve never dreamed before. Finding our way through the woods to the clearing.

Nonetheless, Life without goals is like driving your car without knowing the destination. You know your goals so that you can plan to achieve those. If you don’t know you can’t be focused. Dreams and goals are 2 different things because what we want in life starts with a dream….a dream a desire of what we desire to have….to be….to obtain… but unless you put it into ACTION by making it A GOAL…. it will always “stay a dream” within the confines of your brain / mind! Dreams make us feel good because it can be relaxing and bring us peace on “how things can be” but  like anything and everyuthing else… WORK has to be involved for us to attain things!

God wants us to grow and writing the vision is not enough…after you write the vision and make it plain …simplistic and practical – ACTION STEPS  must follow! ( that is if you desire it to come to pass ) If God allows you to dream it then it is in reach for you to obtain it…. Do not expect God to be your Engine – Engine #9 Train that will come and pick up what you do not feel like doing! Your relationship with Christ is a team effort, so do not sit back and relax just because you know that He has the power..ability and know how to “do it all”…

Dreams and goals are something to live for, to look forward to. Without our dreams and goals, we wouldn’t have much to live for. Dreams keep our hearts alive, that’s the beauty…♥ Do not allow anyone or anything that “take that” part away from you! As individuals, we give up more of ourselves than we actually keep, so FIGHT to keep that part!

Never Alone!!

Jesus is always by my side!!!

Nice to know that I am never alone when the storms of life are raging! I am elated that He is with me in the good times as well as the bad!

All things are possible when I place my life in His hands!

Reflecting -

I can only imagine……

Well actually I can’t even”imagine” especially since I would be in such in “aaaawwwwwwwweeeee” of me even “making it in” because a great deal of people who are always “boasting” that they are getting into Heaven are the main ones that will not make it in.

I want to live right and along my path know that I am doing the will and the work of the Lord….. and NOT ever become so prideful that I obtain the mind set that I dont have nothing to worry about…

God looks at the DETAILS via the things that we do in our lives…. and sometimes “my details” can get me into trouble!

I TOTALLY Agree

Remember that DIVERSITY is an open doorway of opportunity to find things out about LIFE.

I am a follower of Jesus Christ but WISDOM allows me to also gather some truth and understanding in other ways as well. Even a sinner can help show you things about yourself that you seemed to not have been able to gain from the most popular Christian Pastor in the world!

So with that being said… this statement is VERY TRUE and it was supposedly quoted from a religion that I DO NOT FOLLOW!

However, that is not the most important thing because the message “is still very true”…… we have to learn to take what WE NEED and let the rest of the message just “simply dissolve” if it is not for us! Got it? Get it? Good!

Rant Cool – Down

I must admit that earlier via the presidential announcement - my flesh and my spirit was bothered at the same time! They were EQUALLY upset! LOL Nonetheless, right about now I am sure that Vice President Biden is so excited because he is the one who started the interesting fiasco in the headlines. However, I am fine now! No more anger, frustration etc… I can think better now -

I will not focus on fussing at President Obama having ” a change of heart”  ( as he stated ) I will just pray so that I can adequately obtain strategies and tactics from The Lord so that I can be PREPARED. The Bible is Right and somebody’s wrong!

P.S. Jesus is certainly on His way back……….OH – Lord, help  me to be AND remain ready!

Words With Meaning –

People running everywhere. Forever looking at our watches Our minds racing  with cares. We never see that lonely man Sitting on the street.

We  don’t even notice that hungry lady Struggling in the heat. Children so  needy Filled with despair.

An old grandma rocking sadly And no one  cares. We must remember Jesus left us with a plea… “Ye did unto the  least of these my brethren, ye did it unto me.”

So what about  you? What about me? What about the lonely man Sitting on the  street? Will you reach out Without a shadow of doubt?

Will you love  the least of these And fulfill Jesus’ plea? A smile for the lonely man  sitting on the street. A bit of food for the hungry lady struggling in the  heat.

A hug for the children so full of despair. A cheery voice for the  old Grandma in the rocking chair.

This seems so simple Such an easy  thing to do……..

 Let’s reach out for the least of these And for Jesus  too!!

Dear Jared – Remember That…..

During our MANDATORY weekly mediation sessions / talks we go over several things according to Christ. As a Christian Mother, to me it is very imperative that I remind my son DAILY of the goodness of our God but the things that we should believe in and live by…..

We believe in one God, eternally existent and coequal in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. John 14:16-17. Matthew 28:19. 2 Cor. 13:14

We believe that Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, and is true God and true man. Matthew 1:18-23

We believe that the Scriptures of Old and New Testaments are verbally inspired by God and inerrant in the original writings, and are the final authority for faith and life. II Peter 1:20-21. II Timothy 3:16-17. Heb. 4:12

We believe that man was created in the image of God; that he sinned, incurring both physical and spiritual death; and that all human beings are born in sin and that this sinful nature is the origin of all sinful acts in thought, word and deed.Genesis 1:26.
