Here’s to Having A Great Life –

A great life doesn’t happen by accident. A great life is the result of
allocating your time, energy, thoughts, and hard work towards what you want your life to be. Stop setting yourself up for stress and failure, and start setting up your life to support success and ease. A great life is the result of using the 24/7 you get in a creative and thoughtful way, instead of just what comes next.

A great life is the result of simplifying your life. People often misinterpret what simplify means. It’s not a way to remove work from your life. When you focus on simplifying your life, you free up energy and time for the work that you enjoy and the purpose for which you are here. In order to create a great life, you will have to make room for it in yours first.

A great life is the result of your best effort. Creating a great life requires that you make some adjustments. It may mean re-evaluating how you spend your time, or choosing to spend your money in a different way. It may mean looking for new ways to spend your energy that coincide with your particular definition of a great life. Life will reward your best effort.

A great life is the result of creating priorities. It’s easy to spend your days just responding to the next thing that gets your attention, instead of intentionally using the time, energy and money you have in a way that’s important to you. Focus on removing the obstacles that get in the way of you making sure you are honoring your priorities.

Now focus on creating as well as maintaining a great life!

Understanding Healing

A hint for a happier journey: A healer for the hurting! As we go through life, we cannot avoid the sorrow of loss. Because those we love may leave us, our hearts hurt deeply, and healing can be difficult to find. But there is healing for those who seek it.

The Scriptures tell us that Jesus was wounded for us so we could find restoration and healing in him. And though it is a spiritual mystery, we can experience healing that comes through his sacrifice.

What a relief that we don’t have to just cope with our hurting hearts! We have one who walks beside us, who leads us in the path of healing……….A hint for a happier journey……….Yes, you can ride out your storm.

God said “If you never felt pain, how would you know I am a healer. If you never felt sadness, how would you know I am a comforter?” God is all and more than we can ask for or even phantom…Give it all to him today!!! he is calling you!!!

Babbling With My Son –

It’s not what you achieve, it’s what you overcome. That’s what defines who you are…..   Your outlook upon life, your estimate of yourself, your estimate of your value  are largely colored by your environment. Your whole career will be modified,  shaped, molded by your surroundings, by the character of the people with whom  you come in contact every day…

Honestly, I think everyone should experience defeat at least once during their career. You  learn a lot from it!!!   He always tells me what he wants to do in life via his career and I advise him that he needs to find a career to which he his adapted by nature, and then to work hard at  it, is about as near to a formula for success and happiness as the world  provides. One of the fortunate aspects of this formula is that, granted the  right career has been found, the hard work takes care of itself. Then hard work  is not hard work at all.

Good Day!

Any time that  you can do ” what thus sayeth the Lord” is indeed a good day right???  Well spending time with individuals who desire to learn and become a better woman, a better mother, a better wife, a better sister, a better friend, a better Christian and just an overall better person to function within society is just the motivation that keeps me going.

Helping people is like second nature because it is not only a desire, not only how I was raised / groomed but it is a HUGE attribute of Christ!!

You do NOT have to place a title on the things that you do for people……Just do it and have a GOOD DAY!

No need to call yourself a Mentor  or Life Coach << new term that drives me just a TAD BIT BONKERS! Whatever happened to people just doing things to be NICE or just to teach them with NO STRINGS attached? Help someone out without expecting anyting in return or telling anyone of “your supposedly good works” and have a GOOD DAY!

A Nice “Random”

Whether we realize it or not, appreciating the life we live is a necessity in order to prosper.  Appreciating your life is about being grateful for the people that are in your life that make it better, and the things that you have, even if they may not be everything in which you may desire.

We must be able to prefer to appreciate the things we cannot have instead of trying to appreciate things that we would not be able to appreciate.  There are things that every one of us can appreciate as well, Including your health, your family, and the fact that you are alive.

Appreciating your life calls for one to be humble, and calls for one to appreciate the journey to greatness that they are on, and not just the destination in which they are headed to. Also be willing to show others that you love that you appreciate their lives as well.

A Lesson-

You are never given a wish without being given the power to make it come true. Don’t let today’s disappointments cast a shadow on tomorrow’s dreams because that is what I almost allowed to transpire this week! Live – Learn – Love… bw free and stay free!

You don’t have to care about everything around you. Some things are best to be left ignored so be free and stay free!
In the process of being free there are certain things an individual must do to unbound the chains of life.  Some may recommend living life freely with no concerns or cares in the world, and some may think of it as a selfish and immature life, nevertheless being free is a life that many choose to live.
When someone is being free and living as freely as possible they make decisions on their own no matter what the consequence may be.  Those who live life freely also don’t blame anyone else but their selves for the choices that they make because they solely made these decisions.  Being free also makes a person own up to the choices that they make and have made in the past, and require them to accept responsibility for the direction that their life is headed in.
Being free can also be defined as someone who is becoming or who is already free in their mind, even though it may seem as though they aren’t completely free physically.

A Pick Me Up –

I told my girl pal that if I was able to take her pain away, I WOULD! Until then… this is the best that I could do! I tried! She is going through a rough patch in her life…the Ugly D WORD!! Divorce……..

I am always trying to INVENT things “in my mind” to  make myself and others feel better….. and I thought about this!!!….. Of course NOTHING in life is this easy…if we could go to a local grocery or drug store and get pills that we need for emotional healing…No one would be angry…sad or depressed…. but if we can get our healing from a BOTTLE… Where does GOD come in at? He is the ultimate and genuine healer!

I told her to use her imagination…and I hope that it works! Relationships are hard sometimes ( ESPECIALLY DIVORCE ) and when they end – pain is there! God will show anyone the route that they can / should take to assist them in their healing process….
