A Day Filled With Love –

Being able to spend time in ANY form or fashion with loved ones is something that we should never take for granted…. Just appreciating the little silly things is indeed a blessing and with so many people just dying like a drop of a hat, the things that would make me upset before does not now. Not saying that I too, am not a work in progress woould not be very accurate! LOL, However, praying and asking God to show me what battles “are worth fighting” at the moment is key and has really helped me grow –

Spending time with loved ones and family is an incredible experience. Kids liek me! ( LOL ) love to spend time with their families and bask in the love and joy that comes with it, so it’s not surprising that quality family time ranks up there as one of the most important values in the lives of average people.

A lot of people unfortunately cannot find time to spend with their families, making quality family time a luxury instead of a normal occurrence. With a little bit of planning and some creativity, however, any family can have some quality family time and can enjoy the company of loved ones.

Then of course everyone that is considered like family to you does NOT have to share the same biological DNA  but they have a consistent source of love !

Seeing all of these amazing people in one day and being able to share what is on my heart has blessed me tremendously….. Yup,  I am grateful

Open and Closed Letter

To My Oldest Kids,

I was sitting here thinking and re- evaluations a whole of things that transpired between the 3 of us over the years., Then I also had a talk with one of your previous coaches, talked to a few other relatives, talked to God and even had a tiny conversation with myself about you and your sister over your very LONG teenage years.  I was a little excited because you will both be turning 19 years of age in July and I still ask myself where did the time go! Although you guys are fraternal twins – sometimes I wonder if you are really indeed twins at all because you both just have WAY too, too, too, too, too, too  many differences! ( good and bad )

Nonetheless, as I move on in my life I wanted you to know that I will always – always love you and I am NO LONGER upset with either one of you! Plus, if I desire to get into Heaven, I better not be mad anymore! Plus, it is not worth it at all….

Well, with you both, Please know that  I am just no longer willing to accept your disrespect and your unwillingness to put in the time and effort that it takes for us to build and maintain a loving and healthy relationship….

I am sure that you are shocked but guess what – I was too when I was able to FINALLY come to this point in my life!

Like I said at the beginning of this letter, you both will be turning 19 years of age next month and I have been struggling HARD with the both of you since you were 12 1/2 and I do believe that it is time for ME to see about ME.  You guys have chosen for the last 7 years of what you wanted to do…when you wanted to do it…if you wanted to do it…who you wanted to do it for and with…. and sad to say, None of it INCLUDED ME!

I love you guys to pieces and when “it is time”, we will connect again but it will be on my time and terms…. oh an by the way, I am glad that you both are my kids … EVEN THOUGH YOU DON’T ACT, SPEAK, OR DRESS LIKE IT!

If you need need better interpretation of this quick – blunt – open and closed letter, please consult God!

P.S. If you cannot tell by now – I have allowed every year that has passed to MAKE ME better and not bitter!

Men -Woman -Relationships

To keep a marriage healthy, the first thing is to honor the relationship itself. Come to it as something led by spirit. The next step is to acknowledge each other’s soul, acknowledge each other not just as human beings, but as spirits who have chosen a body to come into. Then, through ritual, bring these two souls together.

A man was designed by GOD to be a husbandman to a rose. As such, he must care for, nurture, protect, “appreciate” and help her achieve maximum potential. A man was created by GOD from water and dirt. Since a rose needs water and dirt to thrive a woman should be able to receive the nourishment she needs through her husband. The husband must lead his wife to trust him, allow him to clip away her stem and lay gently in his hands.

A woman is like a rose. She has petals that are beautiful, delicate, soft and sweet. But a rose also has a thick stem with thorns. The stem represents the toughness she must have in order to stand against the challenges the world forces her to face. The thorns serve to protect her from men who try to pick her up quickly that do not know how to handle her properly.

A man who wants to be wealthy needs a good woman. A good woman has a heart to do the will of GOD and contains within her heart the qualities of strength, power, and moral excellence. A good wife, brothers, can help a man achieve his purpose as well as provide provision, protection, and peace. That is, she can help him materialize his vision for their marriage, help create wealth for their family, cover his back from the attacks of evil men and wanton women, and provide a quiet comfortable home.

It is amazing to read, share and talk to other people who have the same views  on relationships of all kinds and SOAK up more wisdom!

Dear ( ME )

This Morning –

Trayvon Martin is now FIGURATIVELY wearing a brand new HOODIE!

Regardless if any child is wearing a hoodie….a hat…sanging pants ( so disgusting ) or certain colors… Violence via black males in America has PROVEN to be way out of control.

This morning I woke up thinking of my own 18 1/2 year old twins……

This morning I woke up thinking  about my own 9 1/2 year old son…

I woke up thinking that although I love the Lord and I indeed want to make it into Heaven that I do NOT want to bury any of my children……

I do not want them to see the Lord anytime soon….

Life is short…Life is precious… Life is a gift…..Life is a blessing..

I want my children to live for God and enjoy life and not worry about them leaving this world early let alone tragically.

Kids! >> their brains are honest!
