You wake up every morning, wondering what the day has in store for you. It could be a fun day full of happy surprises, new friendships, and accomplishment of new milestones. Or, it could be a lousy day, with the boss yelling at you, your car breaking down, or your kid doing something they should not have. Some days are good, some are bad and it is just LIFE and we have to learn to deal with it all in stride….. Is it hard – OF COURSE but should we allow it to “kill our day” NO!
How do you react to these incidents? Do you mope around and say, “Life is hard!”? Or do you square your shoulders, and say, “No problem, life is good!”?
Albert Einstein said, “In the middle of difficulty lies opportunity.” If you look at life positively, you will find every hurdle a stepping stone to success. Instead of making excuses, you will find reasons to succeed. Each failure teaches us important lessons in life. Don’t be disappointed or disillusioned by your misadventures. Life is good when you accept failures and success.
Recharge your soul with positive thinking. Start your day by saying that life is good. Quotes that build a positive energy are great stress busters. With a never-say-die attitude, you can see the silver lining in every grey cloud.
Understanding that everything is perfect, because it serves and helps me to walk through life with care and perseverance, full of trust and humor, calmly doing what has to be done, gratefully realizing the truth revealing itself behind appearance, and living securely in the fullness of being.
Accepting others openly and harmoniously the way they are, learning that I cannot change people but I can pray for them and wait for the answer from Christ, confidently relying on my feelings and feeling worthy to live in abundance, contemplating life without judging and lovingly letting happen what needs to happen.
Wanting to learn and wanting to understand, excusing and forgiving, wanting the right thing, listening to what life wants, relinquishing my own wants for God’s desires for my life.
Learning to express myself clearly, learning to be silent and to listen without giving uninvited advice, being honest in word and action and giving gifts of words, bestowing courage and comfort to others and myself, using words only to help, to thank and to bless.
Acting with circumspection and forbearance, being helpful, kind and constructive, remaining considerate and persevering, independent from the expectations of others, learning to give and to take and knowing to do the right thing at the right moment through inner guidance.
Retreating regularly into silence, making time for prayer and meditation, surrendering to truth and reality in harmony, and feeling safe and sound in it.
Honoring the spiritual laws of Christ, walking through life carefree and calmly, knowing that all is really not equal but learning that nurturing harmonious relationships and seeing the beauty of all things is important, loving to live, but being ready to leave this life at any time, gratefully and consciously fulfilling God’s Plans every moment of our lives.
A great life doesn’t happen by accident. A great life is the result of
allocating your time, energy, thoughts, and hard work towards what you want your life to be. Stop setting yourself up for stress and failure, and start setting up your life to support success and ease. A great life is the result of using the 24/7 you get in a creative and thoughtful way, instead of just what comes next.
A great life is the result of simplifying your life. People often misinterpret what simplify means. It’s not a way to remove work from your life. When you focus on simplifying your life, you free up energy and time for the work that you enjoy and the purpose for which you are here. In order to create a great life, you will have to make room for it in yours first.
A great life is the result of your best effort. Creating a great life requires that you make some adjustments. It may mean re-evaluating how you spend your time, or choosing to spend your money in a different way. It may mean looking for new ways to spend your energy that coincide with your particular definition of a great life. Life will reward your best effort.
A great life is the result of creating priorities. It’s easy to spend your days just responding to the next thing that gets your attention, instead of intentionally using the time, energy and money you have in a way that’s important to you. Focus on removing the obstacles that get in the way of you making sure you are honoring your priorities.
Now focus on creating as well as maintaining a great life!
I am appreciating Kathy Gates!
Make a pact with yourself today to not be defined by your past. Sometimes the greatest thing to come out of all your hard work isn’t what you get for it, but what you become for it. Shake things up today! Be You…Be Free…Share…….
Don’t confuse poor decision-making with destiny. Own your mistakes. It’s ok; we all make them. Learn from them so they can empower you! I have learned to just say THANK YOU to all of the good – the bad – the ugly as well as the horrid things that has transpired in my life. God allowed it so I might as well say thank you and learn from the situations at hand!
It is important that we forgive ourselves for making mistakes. We need to learn from our errors and move on.. You must learn to let go. Release the stress. You were never in control anyway……. One of the most spiritual things you can do is embrace your humanity. Connect with those around you today. Say “i love you”, “i’m sorry”, “i appreciate you”, “i’m proud of you”…whatever you’re feeling. Send random texts, write a cute note, embrace your truth and share it…cause a smile today for someone else…and give plenty of hugs.”
Life can be good…bad…happy..sad…shocking…wonderful…tragic….humble…immoral….respectful etc..etc..etc.. Nonetheless, LIFE is a gift and it is not our job to constantly ponder why things are the way that they are BUT it is our job to improve or change the things that we desire them to be. Ask God to assist us in removing ourselves from situations that should not be, if that is indeed His will.
Sometimes Life is a big thank you…… you may not see it NOW but in the end – it is all a blessing from on high…… Forget yesterday – it has already forgotten you. Don’t sweat tomorrow – you haven’t even met. Instead, open your eyes and your heart to a truly precious gift – today!
