Centrist Party – The Centrist Ideology

imageThe Centrist Party need not be a mush of compromises between extreme positions.  It should take the best of each party and ditch the nonsense.

Keep the Republican belief in personal responsibility; the respect for wealth creation and the power of markets; the healthy skepticism of what government can and cannot accomplish; and the recognition that taxes and regulation come with an economic toll.

Toss aside the oversimplified view that government is always bad and that lower taxes are always good; the sad and reckless denial of climate change; and the outmoded views on social policy, particularly gay marriage, that are antithetical to the whole notion of keeping government out of our private lives.

Keep the Democrats’ concern for working people; the commitment to a strong social safety net and social tolerance; and the recognition that government must play a crucial role in protecting us from the most egregious abuses of capitalism, including environmental damage.

But ditch the policies that are necessary solely to win a Democratic primary, not fix the country:  an overly cozy relationship with the largest unions, particularly the teachers unions; an unwillingness to address the looming costs of our entitlement programs; an unseemly populism that too often treats the forces of wealth creation as a problem rather than a solution.

The Centrists will be fiscally sensible, socially progressive, and committed to the kinds of compromises that will appeal to the tens of millions of voters, particularly younger voters, who are currently without a political home.

Obama – and “his care”

A big change in America’s health care system is coming at the beginning of next year.

The Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare, will go into full effect in 2014, giving millions of uninsured Americans access to health care.

However, there are still misconceptions about the law.

In today’s Just Explain It, we’ll tell you five things you might not know about Obamacare.

Number one… Contrary to what 42 percent of Americans think, Obamacare really is happening. In fact, people can start signing up for state-run health insurance on October 1st. That’s when states and the federal government will open marketplaces, called exchanges, to offer subsidized benefits to the nation’s 50 million uninsured.

Number two… Another survey found that a majority of Americans think the law cuts Medicare benefits and covers undocumented immigrants. It doesn’t.

Actually, the government expects the average Medicare recipient to save approximately $35,000 over the next ten years.

Number three… Tax credits. Next year, health insurance for eligible individuals or families will be subsidized.

For example, someone making just under $23,000 a year wouldn’t have to spend more than 6.3 percent of their annual income on health insurance. Based on a $3,030 plan, their contribution would be $1,450. Under Obamacare, they’d receive a tax credit of $1,580 to put towards their coverage.

Number four The 80/20 rule. Insurers are now required to spend at least 80 percent of premium dollars on providing healthcare. The other 20 percent can be used on overhead expenses like excessive administrative costs and profits. In 2012, this provision saved Americans over two billion dollars.

If insurers don’t comply, they’re required to provide customers with a rebate. In 2011, over 13 million consumers received $1.1 billion in rebates – that’s around $150 per customer.

And finally… taxes. No matter what you’ve heard, your health benefits under Obamacare will not be taxed. The law does require that employers report the value of your annual coverage on your W-2, but the government says that’s just for workers’ information.

In the end, the Affordable Care Act is incredibly complex piece of legislation I AM SURE THAT THE PRESIDENT AND OTHER HIGH POWERED POLITICIANS WILL NOT HAVE OBAMACARE.

It enacts sweeping reforms that involve every state and millions of Americans. Do you think it will work for you? … Siggghhhh and Blaahhh

Babbling With My Son –

It’s not what you achieve, it’s what you overcome. That’s what defines who you are…..   Your outlook upon life, your estimate of yourself, your estimate of your value  are largely colored by your environment. Your whole career will be modified,  shaped, molded by your surroundings, by the character of the people with whom  you come in contact every day…

Honestly, I think everyone should experience defeat at least once during their career. You  learn a lot from it!!!   He always tells me what he wants to do in life via his career and I advise him that he needs to find a career to which he his adapted by nature, and then to work hard at  it, is about as near to a formula for success and happiness as the world  provides. One of the fortunate aspects of this formula is that, granted the  right career has been found, the hard work takes care of itself. Then hard work  is not hard work at all.

Why is it that shopping makes everyone feel better????? People have always stated that it was or should be more intended towards women but the men may have us beat….. I have seen waaaaaay more male shoppers than females and men arent carrying 10 bags up and down the shopping mall hallways for their family, friends OR significant other…… Lol

Speaking for myself, I notice that I actually seem to #Prefer to go shopping for myself when im going through something…. I kind of have discovered over the last two years that it is NOT a rush that I get but more so comfort….

Its like well at least this is something that I can somewhat control!! Welp, that isnt true as well becauase by the time I get to the cashiers counter and she is quoting this very high, outrageous, crazy sounding TOTAL price….all it did was show me that #nope ……..TeamControl went out the window a few isles ago!

Emotions are toooooo expensive!!! LOL

Even after I go ahead and foolishly swipe my card ans pay for the items by the time im leaving store….i have already begun to have Buyers Remorse!! However, im still thinking of my issuea with my family, myself, God, ministry etc….etc….etc…

Reminding  #Team Me that rheaw things wil only make me feel better for a little while……a few weeks if that…  Some people over eat their issues, over spend, over indulge in some form or fashion to TRY and FAIL in assisting God make things easy…

Welp, im surely going to just Let God be God….because He is surely letting me be me……a mess some days……a wreck some months….a wretch MOST of the time and soooo #UNWORTHY all of the time!

Family I couldnt change even if I wanted to!!! However….im continuing to trust and believe that all of the seeds that were planted on good ground within my family……will uproot and grow beautifully!

So I have learned…….well in the process of #learning that only God can fix / change the…..my situations…and if He does not….I must be ok with it because He is indeed GOD ya know!
