Sometimes I wish I could live in a drama free world but then I remember even the greatest warriors had to go through pain before making it to paradise. Lessons are best learned through pain. Sometimes, our visions clear only after our eyes are washed with tears. Sometimes, we have to be broken so we can be whole again. Remember: If God made the day to be perfect, He would not have invented tomorrow.
Faith in your dreams and someday your rainbow will come smiling through. No matter how your heart is grieving, if you keep believing, the dream that you wish will come true. God knew……God knows…. nothing surprises HIM –
Time decides who you meet in life
Your heart decides who you want in your life
and your behavior decides who stays in your life
Many people have searched for a life with happiness. Some state that they have found such life, while others belief that such a life does not exist in reality. In fact, happiness is different for every individual; it has different definitions and values for everyone. Many people find happiness in small achievements, while others want to be successful in order to be happy. Every individual has different opinions about happiness.
Now, many of you must be thinking if we can actually find and lead a happy life. Honestly, it solely depends on you, whether you are prepared to do anything to live with happiness or you are just lying in a couch and dream of a happy life.
You need to find out the things that make you happy and then achieve those things. You can know that you are on the right track or not, if you feel comfortable and start enjoying your everyday tasks. You need to struggle hard to get the happiness. However, if you feel that you are not on the right track, do not think that you deserve to be unhappy.
You can never get to peace and inner security without first acknowledging all of the good things in your life. If you’re forever wanting and longing for more without first appreciating things the way they are, you’ll stay in discord.
Thoughts and feelings play a major role in everything we do. It is through these inner processes that we experience our happiness and peace of mind—or the worst day we’ve ever had.
Hope for peace is within each individual’s heart, but only through learning to listen to your heart can the potential of this hope be realized.
Remember, don’t waste time comparing your life to others who seem more fortunate. Being fortunate is based on how much peace you have, not how many luxuries or conveniences you have. Practice from the heart to make peace with what is, then life gives you more help to change things for the better.
Jesus, help me to continue to have the heart and motivation of the Samaritan when he saw the needy man along the way. Taking the time to stop and help wasn’t on his schedule and his medical expenses weren’t in the Samaritan’s budget.
He didn’t consider these factors to be an obstacle that would keep him from extending Your mercy to one in need. Jesus, help me to be Your hand extended reaching out to the needy, the sick, and the oppressed.
Lastly right now Lord, when it is not within my ability or power to directly reach that person in need, prompt me to bring him before the throne in earnest prayer.
When it is YOUR will, please help me…show me..guide me to be a CHOSEN vessel that You use to heal the broken-hearted as You bind up their wounds.
Father, I will do it in Jesus’ name and for Your honor. Amen.
I finally obtained a chance to see and talk to MY DAUGHTER!! I went to go and see her and she ran up to me like she was a 5-year-old child!! I went to see her earlier in the day and her co workers did not believe that I was her mother….they thought that I was her sister and a few others, just felt as if I was her friend! LOL
Anyway….seeing her and knowing that there “has FINALLY been a change” in her made my VERY SOUL shout out to the Lord Jesus Christ! I was and I am still so so grateful ………… my son at first was a tad bit leery because ALLLLLLLLL of the stuff he knows that she and her twin brother has put me through over the years!
I had to tell him off to the side then AGAIN in front of his sister that we all have to forgive… and there will be many more times that we may not want to but we have to….especially when it is FAMILY. If you really look at my son’s face, his smile is very FORCED AND FAKE…. however by the time our meeting time was over…he felt so much more comfortable and was actually glad to see his big sister…. She saw as well as felt the difference but she too, understood why he was being a little distant….
I told my own mother that …is this what the Lord feels like every time one of his children ” COMES BACK HOME ” to Him! LOL I know that they talk about the prodigal son in the bible but my goodness, in this day and age – there are SEVERAL prodigal daughters as well!!! I mean like to have her hugging me….squeezing me to pieces…smiling uncontrollably….crying and saying over and over how much she misses me and needs me in her and she is sorry – ….. YEAH – that is some of the same stuff that we as Christians say to the Lord when we know that we have messed up and know that we cannot go on productively without Him!
Nonetheless, OF COURSE I had my arms open to her and expressed not only how much I loved her but how she needs to have Jesus in her life. I had to tell her that it was God that told me to make a detour and come and see her and I am glad that I obeyed. The Lord had indeed softened my heart again towards her and it was ONLY God that could have done it.. She smiled and became teary eyed again and said that she knew it was God. We prayed….talked…laughed….re -connected and vowed to work on our relationship WITH GOD IN THE MIDDLE of it.
