North Korea Again….

r

Did you know that on this past Tuesday, North Korea issued a warning to foreigners in South Korea, urging them to leave the country in order to avoid becoming involved in a “merciless, sacred, retaliatory war.” Despite the threat, there have been no indications that North Korea has done anything to prepare its 1.2 million-strong army for war.

The committee SUPPOSEDLY did inform all foreign institutions and enterprises and foreigners, including tourists … that they are requested to take measures for shelter and evacuation in advance for their safety. They better get out of there now!!

r

The warning was issued during a bulletin that was aired on North Korean state television and interrupted normal programming. Foreign embassies in Seoul have not issued any orders to foreign diplomats asking them to leave, and airlines have not changed their schedules in any way as a result of the threat.

WHY IN THE WORLD  did a  U.S. embassy official indicate that it was business as usual despite the threat. “Our workers are in all our offices today,” he said. “We have not evacuated anyone.”

I am sooooo digusted at this point….. the world is on edge….because these WORLD leaders are on edge.. Nonetheless, to NOT have the workers or at least the workers on the lower end of hiarchy be released in  a safer enviornment like HOME is baffling to me.

My Random Opinion Via North Korea –

Talking to your family and especially your younger kids about what is GOING ON IN THE WORLD right now is very vital. These kids are walking around listening to music on their i-phones with NO KNOWLEDGE if the very city that they live in is planning a strategy for any types of attacks….

President Obama will not say it, and our leaders in Washington will not say it as they do not want to escalate the situation. But as early as I can remember back in the 70’s when my father started teaching me about WORLD POLITICS that  North Korea has been a problem child since before the 1950’s.

HOWEVER,  if they attack and kill even one American soldier or civilian, I will advocate the nuclear destruction of that country so that not one person or stone is left standing. The time of petty warlords and dictators trying to control more than their own country is over. South Korea is a soviergn nation.

North Korea leader Kim Jong-un smiles as he salutes during a military parade to celebrate the centenary of the birth of North Korea founder Kim Il-sung in Pyongyang

The freedom to rule their own nation with threats by it’s neighbors is absolute as is China’s. No Nation should in this time have to live in fear of having a tyrant of another nation invade and take away their freedoms. I also urge that IF war is to happen, Then China start at the top of North Korea and South Korea and the United States start from the south and we will meet in the center for a drink of tea. (so to speak )

China will control what ( so to speak ) lands it had to go to war with and South Korea will control the lands they had to fight of invaders in and there will no longer be a North Korea and a leader that apparently cannot lead or is listening to very bad advice and not using his own common sense!

Well……I am just RAMBLING AND VENTING but via China is concerned…..

China will not help any North Korean aggression. They know the price is too high. Not in nuclear terms, either. No one is that stupid, even if some blowhards advocate that “solution”

America and North Korea

I am NOT saying that The United States is not taking the threats from North Korea very seriously because to ignore a nut is not a good plan. We must consider the possibility. We ignored the attacks prior to 9-11, “feeble attempts to cause fear” and “not really worth getting excited over” and “they really do not have the technology to do us harm.” And yet………….

Ummm….the other question is that if  these threats have been taken seriously EARLY ENOUGH! I believe they have been not because there is much of a possibility of any direct strike on the United States but the potential of it on our forces in the area and loyal allies such as Japan and the Republic of South Korea.

SERIOUSLY………My worry is Baby Leader in trying to appease his generals has pushed himself into a corner and will have to strike something. We shall see? So far it looks like very prudent measures are in place to show this is realized as a potential.
Never underestimate the drive of an enemy – that would really be stupid. We are not in panic mode but caution and thought are and should be the order of the day.

Birthday / Black History Month

I am indeed honored that my birthday shares the same month as my African American Heritage! To be apart of such a rich history is a blessing indeed.

With it being 2012, you can see so many changes that the black community have been able to accomplish over the decades and it is a blessing to  see.

More than 2.5 million blacks who registered for the draft in World War II, about 909,000 served in the Army. In 1944 there were over 700,000 blacks in the Army; this represented the greatest proportion of blacks to total Army strength in World War II. So at its peak, only 8.7 percent of the Army — instead of the planned 10 percent — was black. In June 1945 blacks accounted for less than 3 percent of all men assigned to combat duty in the Army.

About 78 percent of all black males — and only 40 percent of all white males-in the Army were placed in the service branches (including quartermaster, engineer, and transportation corps). Approximately 167,000 blacks served in the Navy during the war, about 4 percent of total Navy strength; and over 17,000 blacks enlisted in the Marine Corps, 2.5 percent of all marines. “Despite the multitude of problems with which the Army was faced in the use of Negro troops in World War II,” historian Ulysses Lee would later write in the Army’s official account of the war, “at the war’s end a greater variety of experience existed than had ever before been available within the American Military Establishment”:

They had been used by more branches and in a greater variety of units, ranging from divisions to platoons in size and from fighter units to quartermaster service companies in the complexity of duties. They had been used in a wider range of geographical, cultural, and climatic conditions than was believed possible in 1942.

All of this was true of white troops as well, but in its manpower deliberations and in its attempts to wrest maximum efficiency and production from the manpower allotted to it, the Army found that it was the 10 percent of  American manpower which was Negro that spelled a large part of the difference between the full and wasteful employment of available American manpower of military age 44.

Just day dreaming, let alone thinking of all of the things that blacks were apart of, really makes me strive to do better for myself as well as honor what they did for me!

I think we should honor all of the African Americans that have made positive changes to our society all year round.

Those black individuals make a hole thorough our hearts because so many of them get sent away from their parents and having a month stand out for this purpose sheds light and opens eyes to those who think indifferently about people of color.

Much of the technology and conveniences we have still today were developed by African Americans and it needs to be acknowledged just like anyone else on this planet that has made strides for the human RACE in general, Which sheds tears into or eyes. Black history month also tells of the injustices that were done during slavery and the many that stood together to overcome that.

I think Martin Luther King Jr. was a good role in Black History Month because he was the one who said “Fight hate with love.”
As a people we need to know that we are STRONG…… we have the ability to make something out of NOTHING!!! So let’s keep moving toward greatness….
