74 – 40 – 20

image

My Mommy is 74 and I’m 40 but we have fun like we are 20!

We had sooooo much fun today that she almost had me going to the bathroom on myself!!!!! I’m soooooo serious folk.
image

We had prank conversations with people today at random…had very RAMDOM people take pictures of us..then sat and “People Watched” while giggling….Okay, I’m lying…we just didn’t ONLY “giggle” because we had our own two cents to add as well as people walked by… Forgive us Lord!
We also passed an Obstetrics office and she was walking in there to ask if someone could deliver her baby right now because it was an emergency! !!

Whew honey, I hollered AND was embarrassed ALL at the same time….but indeed I didn’t care either because she almost died a few weeks ago!!!

Sounds crazy right!  So if my momma wants to prank doctors office’s acting as if she needs special services because she is pregnant. ..Mom, go right ahead!!!

Now do you understand why the blog title is simply only numbers! !!!! LOL.

NEVER act too old or too young to laugh with your family!

Moms….. TAKE Time!

image

Most women already know what the statistics bear: You are still carrying most of the load. You juggle kids, work, home, volunteering and everything else in between. Are you really enriching your life by doing everything?

“When we are stressed, overwhelmed and tired, we have a shorter fuse. We become irritable, and it’s more difficult to handle the challenges of being with children,”…………..
image

Logically, you know that running yourself on empty isn’t good for your health or your family. But the instinct to be a devoted mother means operating in overdrive…….. MENTAL BREAK DOWN is what we should avoid!  You want your children to be happy, and you desire to give them every possible life experience, even at the expense of your own needs. You feel guilty if your children don’t have everything you think they should have.

Now that you know it is healthy and even productive to take a “time out,” how can you actually take one when you can’t possibly drop one thing on your schedule?
image

Take stock of what you are doing now. Do you really need to bake three dozen cookies for every parent meeting? Or chaperone the next field trip? Will your children really be scarred for life if they don’t have a dinner made from scratch? Do you…… DO I …… LOL, have to put my son in EVERY kind of activity? Honey, I do stay EXHAUSTED because of it!!
image

Seriously think about what your own goals are. Focus on your interests and the opportunities at hand. Once you have your focus on target, the wasted time that goes along with being pulled in too many directions will be a thing of the past.

Funny 2 be hot, sweaty and irritated

Listen…… It is a RULE that my oldest son is NOT permitted to be out and about with no hair cut – he states that it is a college thing….. I have heard that even when I was in college from guys and I did NOT get it then – and still don’t get it NOW! Nontheless, I do see that it indeed is an athlete little thing that they all do regardless of what sport they play – be relaxed…..
image

WHATEVER THAT MEANS right???? Why do kids go away to college and just dress like “who done it” or they feel that they can “just chill and relax” 24 hours a day!!!! Welp, As soon as he got in the car – I gave him a love letter / Mom to Son poem and just STARRED at his head like…ummmmm after you quickly place your seatbelt around your body think about this…….
image

“Baby, we are going to the barbershop right?”…………………he laughed and said yes ma’am…..  ( love this boy )
image

However, the boy has so many different type of barbers that he likes to go to one was busy, the other wasnt there yet and finally got to the other place and I was sitting in the car STEAMING MAD – not mad for real BUT LISTEN – that sun was not nothing nice because we all know that the air conditioner in any car seriously kills the gas and I keep my air on!
image

I sat there Sweaty…..Sticky!!!!! Hot!!!! ans just talked on the phone with like 6 different people complaining about my kid taking too long!….LOL and I didnt want to go inside the barbershop because it REMINDS ME OF A BUILDING FULL OF DOGS BARKING – so no thank you.

image

When I surely was about to text my baby – he grabbed the car door and hopped in and seeing the GOOD RESULTS – the wait didnt matter to me anymore!!! LOL >>>> I AM SO LYING! …..hahahaa… but it was perfect timing – Quality time is a blessing!

Networking With Positivity –

image

You’ll attract what you depict about yourself. So if you want to be with / or around a certain type of person then you have to display it in all facades, mentally, physically and spiritually.
image

I remind my son daily that although it is important to have a variety of friends. Having manners, saying please and thank you, knowing how to interact with common sense is very basic but indeed VERY vital.

However, if he plays the drums, the tenor saxophone, plays baseball, plays soccer, plays basketball and reads books on a weekly basis – It would NOT be such a great idea if he started hanging around friends who did NOTHING that he participated in. It is like being unequally matched up even as friends.
image

No your friends should not do everything the same, but it would make sense to spend your time with individuals who are like minded.
image

I am not speaking of ONLY personal male female relationships…. I am talking in reference to ANY type of places in life that you desire to catapult to.
image

Winners notice winners and mock what they did or are doing so that they too, can not only become a winner as well but maintain being a winner.
image

The image you portray yields the person you’ll draw to you so don’t get mad at what’s coming to you…check the mirror and see what you’re displaying!

My mother taught me FORESIGHT…
“Make sure you wear clean underwear, in case you’re in an accident.”

My mother taught me IRONY…
“Keep crying and I’ll give you something to cry about.”

My mother taught me about the science of OSMOSIS…
“Shut your mouth and eat your supper!”

My mother taught me about CONTORTIONISM…
“Will you LOOK at the dirt on the back of your neck!”

Happy Birthday Mommy!

It does NOT matter how and when you celebrate LIFE of the person whom you love…just make sure that you do indeed celebrate it with them!

With a great deal of  people are dying and regardless of the age, I have gone to funerals for people who were deemed to be young and healthy!

So with my MOMMY CAKES turning 73 years “younger” today – I am elated to share every moment with her!

She has taught at least 75% of what  I know and it has 75% made me into the woman I am – so she is batting really good at almost 100 and im am already almost half of her age! LOL …Nonetheless, she introduced me TO CHRIST – which was the best relationship that I will ever have!
