This is how fast my life has felt over the last 3 months…. Am I exhausted? Sure thing – Would I change anything? Sure thing! LOL I am HAPPY but am I ever ” so exhausted ” mentally – socially – spiritually – emotionally – physicallly ETC…ETC..ETC…
Tennis Mom ……yeah he plays!
Basketball Mom……yeah he plays!
Chess Mom……..yeah he plays!

Mothers and sons really do have a unique relationship. Mothers are as much responsible for how their sons are raised as fathers, and while it should be a great time in your life to grow a young man, it should not be taken lightly.
Mothers are really the key to how your son will treat his wife one day! Knowing your balance in the relationship and keeping open communication are so important.
Really, your son is taking all sorts of mental notes about how you react to him and others, and he is learning more than you think!
My son had a soccer game today and did VERY VERY well…. his team won, the score was 12 to 5 and he made 3 of the points and made 2 saves as well! I felt that things that went on with him today was full of sincerity……it was LONG OVERDUE as well.
As you can see….. my baby was on a move and a mission trying to make a play! I was / am so proud of him… it is a blessing to be able to see your kids have fun, be active and happy. He really is a good ( SPOILED ) respectful child..
His father ACTUALLY CAME TO HIS GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes, that is a great deal of exclamation points… you guys know a few of my previous posts about the father situation… God is moving and I pray that things continue to flow….( for my son’s sake )
My son was so happy and as a mom, indeed so was I….. He came bearing gifts! ( my son has everything seriosuly….but that isnt the point! )
My baby is grateful when ANYONE blesses him but when it is someone who has the ability to touch his heart strings makes him feel like he is on Cloud 9. Seeing my son baby happy ……is a feeling that I cannot describe. It is is sooooooo important for BOTH parents to be involved in their children’s lives. Sons and daughters NEED both their mothers and fathers because each party pours different things into them. That is how God intended it……this is how I would love for it to be as well.
My 19 1/2 year old big baby….. my son sent me this photo a little bit ago and he looks so mature….. but his ” MOMMY VOICE ” does not match his mega tattoos and tough boy act! LOL Sometimes, he sounds more baby -ish than his 10 1/2 year old brother – he does not want ANYONE to know of course….
He is my other big baby and I just CONSTANTLY pray for some of the various decisions that he makes that may not be “so great”…. The Bible instructs parents to train up a child….. some days I have CRIED TO GOD and asked him did He revise his word because my son acts as if he has lost his way at times……GEESH!! LOL
I am STILL LEARNING how to just pray instead of just screaming and fussing at him….HOWEVER – Lord please help him! As a parent, you can tell when things are not so great EVEN WHEN THEY ARE SMILING…..
I hear things in his voice when I talk to him – but no matter what age a person is in life – we must do what is required of us, respect those who have rule over us, understand that there are rules and regulations wherever you are…..Lord thank you for opening his eyes and ears!
My mother taught me RELIGION…
“You better pray that will come out of the carpet.”
My mother taught me about TIME TRAVEL…
“If you don’t straighten up, I’m going to knock you into the middle of next week!”
My mother taught me LOGIC…
“Because I said so, that’s why.”
My mother taught me LOGIC… #2
“If you fall out of that swing and break your neck, you’re not going to the store with me.”
My mother taught me FORESIGHT…
“Make sure you wear clean underwear, in case you’re in an accident.”
My mother taught me IRONY…
“Keep crying and I’ll give you something to cry about.”
My mother taught me about the science of OSMOSIS…
“Shut your mouth and eat your supper!”
My mother taught me about CONTORTIONISM…
“Will you LOOK at the dirt on the back of your neck!”
My mother taught me about STAMINA…
“You’ll sit there ’till all that spinach is finished.”
My mother taught me about WEATHER…
“It looks as if a tornado swept through your room.”
My mother taught me how to solve PHYSICS PROBLEMS…
“If I yelled because I saw a meteor coming toward you, would you listen THEN?”
My mother taught me about HYPOCRISY…
“If I’ve told you once, I’ve told you a million times: Don’t exaggerate!”
My mother taught me about BEHAVIOR MODIFICATION…
“Stop acting like your father!”
My mother taught me about ENVY…
“There are millions of less fortunate children in this world who don’t have wonderful parents like you do!”
Funny right? You gotta love the teachings of your parents…. I wish my dad was still here to teach me more things and I PRAY that my mother lives a great deal longer to remain teaching me things! HONOR your parents….. >>>>please
It does NOT matter how and when you celebrate LIFE of the person whom you love…just make sure that you do indeed celebrate it with them!
With a great deal of people are dying and regardless of the age, I have gone to funerals for people who were deemed to be young and healthy!
So with my MOMMY CAKES turning 73 years “younger” today – I am elated to share every moment with her!
She has taught at least 75% of what I know and it has 75% made me into the woman I am – so she is batting really good at almost 100 and im am already almost half of her age! LOL …Nonetheless, she introduced me TO CHRIST – which was the best relationship that I will ever have!
