Helping Self...

It is possible for us to ‘lose’ our peace, even after being saved, like if we get angry or afraid. When this happens, it is primarily our fault, if we are supposed to be accountable to ourselves, though other people can play a role in it. When Jesus said that He gives us His peace, He covered us in these regards. So that if we lose our peace, we may still have His peace, and also use His peace to help get our own back.

Peace is not tranquility, it is not serenity, and it is not being calm. It is actually the desire of joy having been accomplished, just as joy is the desire of love having been accomplished. Tranquility is temporal, and serenity actually involves what is around us more than what is inside of us. Tranquility is temporal, because it is like a drug that is injected into us, hence the meaning of the suffix ‘quil,’ just like a porchipine’s quils. Serenity has to do with a peaceful atmosphere. Not that tranquility or serenity are bad things, they just aren’t the fullness of what peace is.

My face looks like how some people’s mind may be thinking as they are reading this Babbling Blog!!!!!! But this isn’t really confusing, it’s just kind of technical!!…… LOL

In looking at the fruit of the Spirit, love, joy, and peace are as love, faith, and hope. Showing a simlarity between peace and hope. The first three fruits of the Spirit are actually nouns, while the next three deal with what you get when the first three are accomplished. Together, love, joy, and peace can all be found in the spirit, while patience, kindness, and goodness may be found in the soul; leaving faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control to be found in the body.

{spirit: love, joy, peace soul: patience, kindness, goodness, body: faithfulness, gentleness, self-control}

The last three fruits of the Spirit have to do with how to come into possessing the first six, in preceding order. This is true just as what Paul was talking about in Romans 7 about knowing how to perform what is good is all about the body, just as he said that sin was in his flesh, and that it was no longer him who was sinning, but sin itself. And thus is it also true that the soul enters in, as we wholly walk in the Spirit, and not in the flesh, just as we may still sin, but through faith our insides aren’t sinning, our outsides are.

If the last three fruits of the Spirit deal with the body, and if peace also deals with the body (love, joy, peace; spirit, soul, body; love, faith, hope- showing how peace, the body, and hope are connected), then peace is also how to come into possessing love and joy.

Goodness then helps us keep our peace, as goodness can show us how to possess patience and kindness, just as goodness also deals with how to possess the preceding fruits of the Spirit, as goodness has to do with the body and hope.

Understanding Faith….

Since most people don’t read the Bible, they know little about God. Many aren’t even sure whether God is real. What about you? What kind of faith do you have? Do you want to have more? Do you understand what faith really is?

“Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see” (Hebrews 11:1Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. See All…, New International Version).

Do you see much faith in the world around you? Much of society today is secular-oriented and virtually devoid of faith. Since most people don’t read the Bible, they don’t know much about the true God.

Many are not even sure there is  a God. Others, although they believe in Him, don’t know what kind of God He is. This situation shouldn’t surprise us. After all, it’s impossible for people to have living faith in a God they don’t know or even know much about.

What about you? Have you thought about—do you know —what God is able and willing to do for you?

The God of the Bible tells us that we can come to know and develop a relationship with Him. We can know what He has planned for us and our families in this life and in the future. We can rest assured that He wants good things for us. His Word tells us that “godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life that now is  and of that which is to come” (1 Timothy 4:8For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come. See All…, emphasis added throughout).

Not only can we come to know God, to believe  in  God, but—much more—we can learn to believe  God.

There is a huge difference. Many people believe in  God. They assume He exists, although they probably haven’t given His existence much thought. But God is not real enough to them, and this lack of reality affects what they think and do.

To believe  God, on the other hand, is to have faith that God can and will do for us whatever He has promised to do.  The Bible tells us that the ancient patriarch Abraham “believed God” and explains that “he did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to [and would] perform” (Romans 4:3For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness. See All…, 20-21).

God expects us to act  on this trusting belief. He requires that we have living faith  in His existence, power and promises.

Faith isn’t some magical ingredient. It does, however, lead to a confident attitude toward God. Faith motivates our minds to the assurance of God’s power and will to act in our lives. Faith becomes more than a mental conviction as it grows into a commitment—not only to trust God to involve Himself in our lives but, with His help, to do His will. We can rest assured that God’s will does not include frivolous or unproductive behavior—only, as we saw above, “godliness [that] is profitable for all things.”

Who or what is in your ear? Is it you…or are you so full of noise and nonsense that you don’t recognize your own still small voice. Have you ever wished…”If I had only listened to myself?” By now, you have had enough life experience with you…to know your inner voice.

It takes courage and conviction to trust yourself and follow your own mind. Cultivate the art of listening to you! Minimize the distractions, the noise, and the clutter in your head.
If your house is cluttered…so is your mind. Clear out the stuff…junk…garbage, and practice listening to your own voice. It’s the only way to live your life from a place of power! You deserve!!

animals vs. soldiers

So let’s start acting like the soldiers that we were made to be……

instead of the animals that we have sadly become………we tear down more than we build up….

2b soldie...Soldiers protect their fellow man……and not offer them to the enemy as well as leave them unprotected

Wolves! |...   Animals prey on what and who they desire to kill and dismantle…  Saints / fellow man does also…..

Animals attack…. Wolves Fi... when they feel threatened. Saints arent a threat toward one another remember?

we are fighting the wrong people Image Detail

Dont come dressed for battle  stock photo : portrait of a soldier and dont know how to battle and get confused about the enemy at hand

But choose to aim at the wrong target  stock photo : Armed man in protective cask with a pistol. Isolated on white.and not the ones who are choosing to have your back Naturally / Spiritually

Because that would make you a saint that has gone ROGUE  stock photo : man shooting on a white backgroundwhich means that you are NOW uncontrollable…..

In Gods eyes love has no color and once we all realize that, then maybe we ALL will bea ble to get along with no barriers.

we are ALL soldiers…. different colors…backgrounds…sizes….and those that follow Jesus Christ need to understand that they all have the same enemy and will make sure that are wearting the  same armour before they go into battle….

Ephesians 6:10-18

New International Version (NIV)

The Armor of God
10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.

16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.

 Now lets save a life!

Dear ( ME )

cleaning up

I have decided to take an inventory and clean house and I didnt realize that is what I was doing over the last 2 months… I wanted to change a great deal of things no later than November 1st and I wasnt too sure if that was going to happen.  Then I came to myself and connected me cleaning the house, my storage been that I have maintained for 5 years!!! 5 years is crazy to have a storage REGARDLESS what was in it! ….It was indeed time to let the things go….and I did! It felt soo good and I was thinking wow, what took me so long to “let go” in the first place because these are ONLY THINGS! There were a few personal things in there more so from my dad and I did keep some of those things but overall things are going much better since I started the process!

Tips On How to Spring Clean Your Spirit………

While you’re cleaning out closets and sweeping under the furniture, think about this: Spring cleaning, while worth the effort, will only last for a season, but spiritual cleansing could have an eternal influence. So don’t just dust behind those book shelves, dust off that favorite Bible and get ready for a spiritual spring cleaning.

1) Cleanse Your Heart – Get Spiritually Healthy:The Bible encourages us to draw close to God and allow our hearts and bodies to be cleansed. This is the first step in our spring cleaning project. We can’t clean ourselves.  Instead we must draw near to God and ask Him to do the cleansing.

Psalm 51:10
Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.(KJV)

Hebrews 10:22

Let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water.(NIV)

2) Clean Out Your Mouth – Deep Clean Inside and Out:

Spiritual cleansing requires deep cleaning — it is housekeeping that goes beyond what others see and hear.  It’s a cleansing from within — inside and out. As your heart gets clean, your language should follow. This is not just talking about bad language, but also negative talk and pessimistic thoughts that contradict the Word of God and faith.  This includes the challenge to stop complaining.

Luke 6:45

The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For out of the overflow of his heart his mouth speaks.(NIV)

Philippians 2:14

Do everything without complaining or arguing…(NIV)
3) Renew Your Mind – Take Out the Garbage:

This is one of the biggest areas of struggle for most of us — removing the garbage from our minds. Garbage in equals garbage out. We must feed our minds and spirits the Word of God instead of the garbage of this world.

Romans 12:2

Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.(NIV)

2 Corinthians 10:5

We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.(NIV)
4) Repent from Hidden Sin – Clean Out Your Spiritual Closets:

Hidden sin will destroy your life, your peace, and even your health. The Bible says to confess your sin – tell someone, and reach out for help. When your spiritual closets are clean, the heaviness from hidden sin will lift.

Psalm 32:3-5

When I kept silent, my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long. For day and night your hand was heavy upon me; my strength was sapped as in the heat of summer. Then I acknowledged my sin to you and did not cover up my iniquity. I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the LORD”—and you forgave the guilt of my sin. (NIV)

5) Release Unforgiveness and  Bitterness – Get Rid of Old Baggage:

Any sin will weigh you down, but long kept unforgiveness and bitterness is like old baggage in the attic you just can’t seem to part with. You are so familiar with it, you don’t even realize how it is hindering your life.

Hebrews 12:1

Therefore … let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily hinders our progress…(NLT)

Ephesians 4:31-32

Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.(NIV)
6) Involve Jesus in Your Daily Life – Let the Son Shine In:

What God wants most from you is relationship – friendship. He wants to be involved in the big and small moments of your life. Open your life, let the light of God’s presence shine into every part, and you’ll have no need for a yearly spiritual cleaning. Instead experience daily, moment to moment refreshing of your spirit.

1 Corinthians 1:9

God … is the one who invited you into this wonderful friendship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.(NLT)

Psalm 56:13

For you have rescued me from death; you have kept my feet from slipping. So now I can walk in your presence, O God, in your life-giving light.(NLT)
7) Learn to Laugh at Yourself and at Life:

Some of us take life too seriously, or we take ourselves too seriously. Jesus wants you to enjoy yourself, and learn to have some fun. God made you for His pleasure!

Psalm 28:7

The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and I am helped. My heart leaps for joy and I will give thanks to him in song.(NIV)

Psalm 126:2
Our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues with songs of joy. Then it was said among the nations, “The LORD has done great things for them.”(NIV)
