From Positive Thinking 2 Positive Living –

Positive Thinking

Understanding that everything is perfect, because it serves and helps me to walk through life with care and perseverance, full of trust and humor, calmly doing what has to be done, gratefully realizing the truth revealing itself behind  appearance, and living securely in  the fullness of being.

Positive Feeling
Accepting others openly and harmoniously the way they are, learning that I cannot change people but I can pray for them and wait for the answer from Christ, confidently relying on my feelings and feeling worthy to live in abundance, contemplating life without judging and lovingly letting happen what  needs to happen.

Positive Wanting
Wanting to learn and wanting to understand, excusing and forgiving, wanting the right thing, listening to what life wants, relinquishing my own wants for God’s desires for my life.

Positive Talking
Learning to express myself clearly, learning to be silent and to listen without giving uninvited advice, being honest in word and action and giving gifts of words, bestowing courage and comfort to others and myself, using words only to help, to thank and to bless.

Positive Acting
Acting with circumspection and forbearance, being helpful, kind and constructive, remaining considerate and persevering, independent from the expectations of others, learning to give and to take and knowing to do the right thing  at the right moment through inner guidance.

Positive Retreating
Retreating regularly into silence, making time for prayer and meditation, surrendering to truth and reality in harmony, and feeling safe and sound in it.

Positive Living
Honoring the spiritual laws of Christ, walking through life carefree and calmly, knowing that all is really not equal but learning that  nurturing harmonious relationships and seeing the beauty of all things is important,  loving to live, but being ready to leave this life at any time, gratefully and  consciously fulfilling  God’s Plans every moment of our lives.

There are two main strategies for coping with problems. We can think about a problem and solve it. Or we can accept it, live out our grief or anger and find a positive thought. For most problems, both strategies are needed………………Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much.

When a new day begins, dare to smile gratefully……When there is darkness, dare to be the first to shine a light…. When there is injustice, dare to be the first to condemn it……When something seems difficult, dare to do it anyway……When life seems to beat you down, dare to fight back……..When there seems to be no hope, dare to find some………When you’re feeling tired, dare to keep going……….

When times are tough, dare to be tougher…….When love hurts you, dare to love again………When someone is hurting, dare to help them heal……..When another is lost, dare to help them find the way………When a friend falls, dare to be the first to extend a hand………When you cross paths with another, dare to make them smile…….When you feel great, dare to help someone else feel great too.

When the day has ended, dare to feel as you’ve done your best and of course you should always Dare to be the best you can – At all times, Dare to be!

Doing Your Part

Maintaining a positive attitude keeps a smile on your face and makes you pleasant to be around.  Don’t be deterred by those who don’t believe in the importance of positive thinking.  There are enough other people who will be positively influenced.

Demonstrate the importance of excellence by being the best you can be.  Don’t settle for “good enough” or mediocrity.  You should be able to be proud of the quality of all your work.  Avoid doing the minimum needed to just get by.

Be honorable, trustworthy, and dependable.  Speak out against injustice.  Be your own person.  Don’t go along with the crowd for the sake of acceptance.  Stick up for your friends and don’t bad mouth others.  Be a beacon of integrity.  There are far too many examples of dishonest and unethical behavior.

Don’t be a fair weather friend who is there only when times are good.  It’s when someone is down and out emotionally that they really need someone to turn to.  Be there for them even if you are the only one stepping up.

Set an example of the importance of accountability by taking responsibility for your life and circumstances.  Don’t behave like a victim by blaming others.  Don’t whine and complain.  Demonstrate the importance of a can do attitude by taking action.  Exhibit the benefits of developing effective problem solving skills.

Admit when you are wrong and apologize.  No one is perfect.  Continually strive to improve.  Set an example of humility.  There’s no need to brag or show off, especially when it hurts others.  Take advantage of your strengths while endeavoring to overcome your weaknesses.

Stay young at heart in order to maintain a sense of wonder and excitement.  Maintain an attitude of gratitude for all of the good things in your life you should be thankful for.  Don’t take things or people for granted.

Examples ……

Do you set a good example for others?  Are you proud of your words and actions?  As Albert Einstein accurately observed, setting a good example is the only means of influencing another person.  A major cause of stress is trying to change someone.  It’s hard enough to change yourself.  It’s virtually impossible to change someone else.

Setting a good example isn’t an attempt to change someone.  Rather, it’s showing by your words and deeds what is possible.  Some people will pick up on your example while others won’t.  You have no control over how other people act.

Regardless of how others see it, setting a good example always works to your benefit.  Besides the possibility of influencing others, you attract positive people and situations by your positive actions.

Start setting a good example by always being courteous and polite to all those you come into contact with.  Have respect for and show kindness to others.  Even if you are treated poorly, resist the temptation to react in kind.  I have seen this approach bring a smile to even the surliest individuals.

Have your life shine as an example to others.  You don’t have to be perfect but you should always be striving to improve.  Regardless of your past, you can direct your future in any direction you chose.

Monday Message!

Welp…it is that day again that most people have grown to hate and it is called Monday! I beseech you to change your mind set on Sunday so that you can enter into your week in peace!

A single moment of understanding can flood a whole life with meaning and Any fool can criticize, condemn, and complain but it takes character and self  control to be understanding and forgiving.

Practice working on yourself instead of worrying about what the next day will bring… Negative thinking will run you down in the worse way! Belief consists in accepting the affirmations of the soul; unbelief in denying  them.

Find peace with yourself by accepting not only what you  are, but what you are never going to be! Also, please keep constantly in mind in how many things you yourself have witnessed changes  already. The universe is change, life is understanding.
The best cure for worry, depression, melancholy, brooding, is to go deliberately  forth and try to lift with one’s sympathy the gloom of somebody else.   Man is always inclined to be intolerant towards the thing, or person, he hasn’t  taken the time adequately to understand…
Just try and remember that…………. Life is the first gift, love is the second, and understanding the third & everything else will follow suit via your own decision making – so be wise!
Make yourself have a good day!!! I DID!

Dear ( ME )

The WHOLE month of December was just simply breath taking for me!!! It is like God started blowing my way of April 2011 and hasnt stopped yet! However, December is indeed a month to remember, grasp, meditate on, be grateful for and remain in awwe of God starting my new year before it officially started ” on paper”…..

You’ll be amazed at what a difference it will make in your life simply by changing your thoughts. You’ll be blown away by how much energy you suddenly have and how much joy you suddenly have for life. You’ll suddenly be having the best time of your life simply because you have made the decision to “live” life instead of “waiting” for life.

If you’re just waiting for life to happen and waiting to see what life offers you, how is life going to know what to offer you when you don’t even know what you want? You need to take control of your life and decide what you want. Once you do, then you’re well on your way to achieving your goals.

What is your deepest desire? That one thing that you really want to do with your life? Doesn’t matter if people say that’s a dumb idea or you’ll never be able to make a living doing it? What is it? Now, start to break it down into pieces or little steps. What can you do to start moving towards your desire. God has already granted you everything that you need to get started….your faith will keep YOU MOVING!

You may also find that all the negative, waiting people in your life suddenly start to disappear. New, positive energy people will appear to replace them. New opportunities that you never imagined will suddenly be appearing at your door. You’re ready to go!

So, what are you waiting for? Change that attitude. Start working towards your new positive life. Go get it. It’s yours; it’s waiting for you to make the first move. Take that first step and you’ll never look back. Everything you’ve ever wanted can be yours and all you have to do is change your thoughts and Take Control. This is just a LITTLE SNIPPET of what the month of DECEMBER has been for me!

Thanks Jesus!….as always >>>> I owe you BIG TIME!  LOL
