: We choose not to make a statement either in favor of or against the need for a light bulb. However, if in your own journey you have found that light bulbs work for you, you are invited to write a poem or compose a modern dance about your light bulb for the next Sunday service, in which we will explore a number of light bulb traditions, including incandescent, fluorescent, 3-way, long-life and tinted, all of which are equally valid paths to luminescence.
: Undetermined
Whether your light is bright, dull, or completely out, you are loved. You can be a light bulb, turnip bulb, or tulip bulb. Bring a bulb of your choice to the Sunday lighting service and a covered dish to pass.

Nazarene : 6 One woman to replace the bulb while five men review church lighting policy.
: None Lutherans don’t believe in change.

: What’s a light bulb??

Bishop Timothy Williams – How I Remember Him

I woke up today STILL thinking of this past weekend and the Funeral / Home – Going Service Celebration of my FIRST male example in ministry. Pastor Tim was a pastor that loves – not because God is in his heart but because he is in the heart of God.

His thoughts, actions and messages to the congregation always come from the heart of God. He was a great man that really is driven by his passion for God and his vision for God’s vision. Pastor Tim worked tirelessly in ministry and I have never seen him give any less prayer, time and energy to someone else’s vision than he did to his own. Even though he was a pastor, he was an extraordinary servant and an even more exemplary as a worshipper. He consistently encouraged us to become worshippers of God more than anything, regardless of our age.

He was concerned about the whole person and his lifestyle is one that can be mimicked in the church, at home or at work. He was a proud husband and father and goes to great lengths to protect his family sometimes praying over them all night long. Always instructing them in how to hear God; draw near to God; honor God; give God all!

He was especially special to me on a personal note because he trained my mother to a place in God where I was actually able to see who God really was and what He can do.  She was MY EXAMPLE because he became HER EXAMPLE.

Everyone who walked into the doors of Christian Temple was actually able  to start fresh in the kingdom. It was life changing for me. And that’s what Pastor Tim did for many of us–change lives!

Pastor Tim was a father figure to many and I will deeply miss him….

How Reality Shows “Should” Be…..

Move Over Mary Mary Gospel Reality Show! LOL

I cannot wait to see this….. Dont get me wrong, seeing Mary Mary’s reality show was just simply amazing TO ME at least because it was real and reminded me of me and my oldest sister!!! It showed that CHURCH FOLK are normal and have issues as well and argue and fuss like EVERYONE ELSE!
Ask for God‘s forgivness as well as anyone else we have offended and keep our days moving!!! UGGHH! Deep folk! But my team would not be flashy via sin!

Here is their link below: ( Mary – Mary )

If I had a reality show, I see it being with a mixture of Mary Mary, with a little hint of The Braxtons Family values! Sure people will judge, but WHO CARES- LOL

Yes, I love Jesus Christ
Yes, I LIVE the life because it is a lifestyle and not a trend
Yes, I am in ministry
Yes, I am a mother
Yes, I am a businesswoman
Yes, I am professional
Yes, I have friends from ” ALL ” walks of life (not all in church)

Being diversed …working with people from various backgrounds, staying true to who you are in CHRIST and having the skin tough enough to not worry about what others think of your process and productivity is indeed ME!

Weekend Still Interesting!

My son’s best friend really enjoyed church service this aftertoon and I have to tell you how funny the morning even started!!! I was playing a video tape of a black pentecostal preacher named T.D. Jakes ( google his name ) and YES!! Via the black church the way that he preaches is  a certain style to it! Well anyway, he was sitting at my dining room table eating breakfast and he turned to me and said.. WOW!! That mean just keeps really, really  screaming loud!! You just had to REALLY hear how he said it because he was NOT trying to be funny at all, it just concerned him that this preacher just would not stop screaming as he was talking.

The black church calls it preaching but other cultures who do not understand it is either scrared or just simply confused by this style of preaching. I expressed to him that the church that we were going to was a multi – cultural church and he will fit right at home! LOL He then said that it did not matter if it was a black church or a white church, he just do not want the screaming the whole servie!

Whew Jesus!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I laughed so  so hard that I just walked away after I gave him a hug! LOL

We had a good day and guess what happened when we were leaving church!!! I got a text from my son’s baseball coach and he stated that my son had a game TODAY!!! It would be a make up game! Yes I was soo ticked because as you see, I STILL CANNOT seem to get any ALONE ( free time )………….. Nontheless, I was very elated that my son’s best friend loved the church and experienced a different setting of ministry that he will consider visiting again! When I went to pick them up from their Sunday School, them boys surely did not want to leave! God is good!!!!

I feel like we are The Three Amigos!!

Bishop Norman Wagner… PAW

I need at least 2 boxes of tissue right now….okay its late and im still in shock…eyes hurt…. im so tired that i CANT even go to sleep…

this man has gone home to be with the Lord and im in utter disbelief… i mean usually when a person is sick you kind of expect it but…

My fingers are moving on this keypad but my eyes are closed…. i have to come back later…. tired… rambling on and dont know what to say … he ministered to me and when it is truly a word from the LORD… you dont forget and the word as well as the person seems to find a way of ( staying with you )….

seriously.. i have to upate this blog a little later… …sleepy and moody and overwhelmend at this very juncture…
well he had heart situations going on.. just has heart surgery and had to go back in and he did not make it out this time..

so distraught… had to call someone who will always be pastor, in some form or another ( 1lem) to connect with him and check on him as well. Lo and behold, he sounded even more distraught than i was…. (which is understandable )whew the saints are going out of here in total shock which seems to go un noticed unless they are a pillar in the community or the strong tower in the local assembly… ( sad i know but im just venting )

Memory Loss!!

Went to bed thinking i had no friends…. was sleep and i dreamed that i had no friends…. then i woke up and really ..really found out  and sadly remembered that i had no friends!!

Sometimes I forget that my inner circle is so small that i tend to think that i dont have any friends!! that is because my flesh is soo use to having sooo many people around me.. in my ear.. on my phone.. in my email box.. at my house… greeting me at church.. at venues that i was almost bamboozled to think that ” all that silly jargon and actions ” were of TRUE FRIENDS! lol

i laugh at it now.. but real friends would tell me that i may know this one and that one but im not all that and God is still working on you!… thats friendship!…..

or a male leader … being a pastor or bishop is fathering me and not trying to marry me in the gospel! yeah… that is trueness right there..

or the first lady of the church is trying to “school me” on how many hats to maintain to be in the “crowd”… lol.. crazy right.. but it goes on everyday….. isnt she suppose to be teaching me how to be a Titus woman ….. so i can grow into a true Mother of Zion!

Whew… im laughing now but i was soo on the verge of being a big mess in the vehicle called ministry….. the work of word isnt tainted.. its just the people who joined up – linked up with the word  who is tainted and then try to taint what comes along with it..

whew.. dont be weary in your well doing.. if your heart is right.. God will find avenues for you to learn through the mess in ministry.. and you can still have the capability of coming out ike pure gold.. un tainted…. etc…  thank goodness for that!
