Beautiful

There is NOTHING like music that can sooth and heal the soul… Music, prayer and reading the bible ALWAYS have the ability to make me recall the God that I serve and His promises to me – I sometimes have BAD days and God’s music molds my mind back to the place where I can think – When in doubt……go listen to hyms and go meditate and allow God to minister to YOU

Starting Your Day Right >>>

Get it out of the way. Often when we wake up disgruntled it’s because we know that the day holds at least one chore we’re not happy about doing. So just do it. Get it out of the way and over with. The whole rest of the day will be spent with a feeling of relief instead of overhanging guilt.

Count your blessings – Yeah, I know – it sounds like sermonizing. But when we are feeling down it is because we’re letting the negatives outweigh the positives. Making a list of the positives reminds us that all is not misery. While you’re at it, make a list of the things you like about yourself. You can throw the paper away if you like – but remember those good things when the bad seems to be descending.

Look for that silver lining. It may sound Pollyanna-like, but in almost every situation there is a bright spot. It may be miniscule compared to everything else that seems to be pressing on you – but it is there. Find it. Concentrate on it.

If you can’t find it alone, call a friend and let them help you to search for the good aspects. Friends often have to listen to us bemoaning things – think how pleasant a change it will be for them to help you focus on the positive.

Name five people that you love. Take a few minutes to call one of them, or send them a postcard. Promise yourself that you will treat the next person on the list tomorrow.

God’s Rainbow –

Sometimes life can be overwhelming. For those times … you need a little Rainbow Faith.

The Rainbow ~ a symbol of one of God’s many promises / Faith is indeed ~ the courage to trust in His promises.

Most importantly, the rainbow in Noah is a sign of God’s covenant with humanity: “I now establish my covenant with you and your offspring to come, and with every living thing … Never again shall there be a flood to destroy the earth” (Genesis 9:8-11).

We tend to forget that this covenant was established not only between God and Noah, but with all future generations. We, as God’s creations, are required to do our part to keep the covenant alive and to work for a better, more peaceful world.

Regrettably, peace does not appear as spontaneously as a colorful bow in the sky follows the rain. Individuals and governments must constantly strive to achieve it. And when peace happens, its presence reveals itself less tellingly in headlines, treaties and handshakes than in small, everyday events that signify a return to normalcy.

Life – 101

Life is surely something to treasure, regardless how much stress and heartache it can bring!

 –  Life is fragile, sudden adn shorten than it often APPEARS…..

There may not be a tomorrow – not for everyone.  Right now, someone on Earth is planning something for tomorrow without realizing they’re going to die today.  This is sad but true.  So spend your time wisely today and pause long enough to appreciate it.

Every moment you get is a gift.  Don’t waste time by dwelling on unhappy things.  Spend it on things that move you in the direction you want to go.

Everything in life and about life is really two–sided!!  There is good reason why we can’t expect to feel pleasure without ever feeling pain; joy without ever feeling sorrow; confident without ever feeling fear; calm without ever feeling restless; hope without ever feeling despair:

There is no such thing as a one-sided coin in life, with which one can buy a pain-free, trouble-free existence.

My mommy has a few tests that she has to undergo today at the hospital so I am indeed cherishing LIFE because I am continually praying that her tests come out POSITIVE and all goes well during the test.

They always say that Life is  NOT promised – well actually I beg to differ.. If God allowed you be born that is Life – If God allowed you to wake up and see another day, that is Life

The statement should be that the LONGEVITY of Life is not promised….
