Smile! Life Can Be GREAT….

Did you know that a smile is contagious? It costs nothing to give, but reaps great rewards for both the receiver and the giver. A Smile Spreads Good Cheer!

Mother Teresa of Calcutta once said, “Every time you smile at someone, it is an action of love, a gift to that person, a beautiful thing.”

It’s amazing that your simple smile can brighten someone’s day in a moment’s notice. Too often we underestimate the power of a smile. Although it may be considered the smallest act of caring and it takes little or no effort on our part, it has the power to turn a life around—in fact more than one. Like the ripple effect of a pebble tossed into a pond, your smile will spread far beyond the first person who receives it. You never know how many people will benefit because you smiled first.

Today’s – Inspiration

You wake up every morning, wondering what the day has in store for you. It could be a fun day full of happy surprises, new friendships, and accomplishment of new milestones. Or, it could be a lousy day, with the boss yelling at you, your car breaking down, or your kid doing something they should not have. Some days are good, some are bad and it is just LIFE and we have to learn to deal with it all in stride….. Is it hard – OF COURSE but should we allow it to “kill our day” NO!

How do you react to these incidents? Do you mope around and say, “Life is hard!”? Or do you square your shoulders, and say, “No problem, life is good!”?

Albert Einstein said, “In the middle of difficulty lies opportunity.” If you look at life positively, you will find every hurdle a stepping stone to success. Instead of making excuses, you will find reasons to succeed. Each failure teaches us important lessons in life. Don’t be disappointed or disillusioned by your misadventures. Life is good when you accept failures and success.

Recharge your soul with positive thinking. Start your day by saying that life is good. Quotes that build a positive energy are great stress busters. With a never-say-die attitude, you can see the silver lining in every grey cloud.

Today’s Family Meditation

When things arent working out as you wish.. be patient and stop trying to move ahead of God. His timing is truly perfect and you will NEVER know how perfect it is until you trust Him….. There seems to be a negative situation that transpires on a weekly basis in most people’s live…. However, I work with drug and alcohol clients and things tend to go negative in their lives on a DAILY BASIS… So we must be appreciative for the little things that happen in our lives because things can always be worse – just dont ask how!

Family is there for you most of the time… friends are there for you some of the time but yet AGAIN…. God is there for you all of the time! Learn to respect and honor those who God has strategically and tactfully placed in your path…. absorb and nurture the KNOWLEDGE while you can!

Hmmm…just when we are in need of some serious help, God is always there to lift us up….. He may not show up in the way that YOU may desire but His way is and will always be better for you / us!

The truth is just beautiful isnt it! Remember that God is a LIFE LINE and there is no failure in Him … believe it!

The Little Things in Life

A smile costs nothing, but gives much………It enriches those who receive, without making poorer those who give. It takes but a moment, but the memory of it sometimes lasts forever. None is so rich or mighty that he can get along without it, and none is so poor, but that he can be made rich by it.

A Smile creates happiness in the home, fosters good will in business, and is the countersign of friendship…….It brings rest to the weary, cheer to the discouraged, sunshine to the sad, and it is nature’s best antidote for trouble.

Yet it cannot be bought, begged, borrowed, or stolen, for it is something that is of no value to anyone, until it is given away. Some people are too tired to give you a smile; Give them one of yours, as none needs a smile so much as he who has no more to give.
