Random About “Favor” –

image

To favor means to give special regard to; to treat with goodwill; to show exceptional kindness to someone. Sometimes, it means to show extra kindness in comparison to the treatment of others; that is, preferential treatment. Deuteronomy 28:50 A nation of fierce countenance, which shall not regard the person of the old, nor shew favour to the young:
See All… warns of judgment by a “nation of fierce countenance, which shall not regard the person of the old, nor shew favour to the young.” Though it is natural for us to favor the young in times of affliction or judgment, this nation will not give such favor.

Esther received royal favor above all the other virgins (Esther 2:17And the king loved Esther above all the women, and she obtained grace and favour in his sight more than all the virgins; so that he set the royal crown upon her head, and made her queen instead of Vashti.. It is from this use of favor that we get the word, favorite. The greatest favors are shown to the favorite.

However, favor is not always used in a comparative way toward others. It sometimes simply means that the one favored is shown kindness and treated with a generosity and goodwill far beyond what would normally be expected. This is generally the favor that we receive from the Lord. We are treated much better than we could expect. Of course, every believer is favored to some degree. Therefore, we must understand God’s favor in degrees. The more we please God, the more we will be favored by Him. Also, it is important not to think of this favor in material or worldly terms. God’s favor most likely will be given in spiritual blessings more than in material blessings.

Asking God For Things –

image

I asked God to take my pain away. God said, No. It is not for me to take away,
but for you to give it up. I asked God to make my dying father better 5 years ago. God said, No. His spirit was whole, his body was only temporary.

I asked God to grant me patience. God said, No. Patience is a by-product of tribulations, it isn’t granted, it is earned. I asked God to give me happiness. God said, No. I give you blessings, Happiness is indeed up to you.

I asked God to spare me pain in regards to my my 11 year old’s father being an absentee father and 20 year old twin kids wordly actions. God said, No. Suffering draws you apart from worldly cares and brings you closer to me.

I asked God to make my spirit grow. God said, No. You must grow on your own,
but I will prune you to make you fruitful. I asked for all things that I might enjoy life. God said, No. I will give you life so that you may enjoy all things.

I ask God to help me LOVE others, as much as he loves me. God said…….. Ahhhh, finally you have the idea!!!!

Needing Enemies….

wpid-20121227_074656.jpg

Yes, the title is correct! We need a few enemies to keep us balanced….we need a few enemies to make sure that we maintain a prayer life…. Remember that no matter how it hurt, or how they judge you, never become a prisoner of the past, but a pioneer of the future…

Accepting the call to a life of service means accepting delayed gratification. This means that that you will work but you may not get paid “right now” but in the end your rewards will be well worth it.

Running with that ram in the bush faith! Doing what God commands without a second thought, closing my mind to doubt and ears to doubters! Closing my natural eyes and running full speed ahead by faith! If I do nothing but right……I can’t possibly go wrong!

Connecting The Dots…..

SAMSUNG

The Family Tree is an interesting thing… Spiritual blood lines…. Generational conditions etc…

I have connected the dots so to speak via BOTH sides of my parents and it is very astonishing…. You would be amazed what we can find out when we open up our spiritual eyes and ears…

It HELPS you cope and forgive a great deal even when you don’t want to…..think that you should.. etc..etc..etc.etc. It surely helps things and puts things in perspective!

Nonetheless….. family was created by God so that being said shows the significance as well as the relevance of it all. Our ancestors help define who we are and what we shall experience but it is up to each individual as well as our own personal convictions and relationship with Jesus which can RE-DRIECT what needs to be.

Faith is a must in EVERYTHING that I do……. That is the only way that I am able to deal…

Baptisms Are A Blessing –

My daughter was getting ready to get baptized and we wer ALL so super exited…..

Of course, we cannot leave out her twin brother as well…. I recall this day like it was yesterday

I feel that everyone should get baptized at least 4 times in their lives…. TO ME, it just makes more sense because each session has its OWN INDIVIDUAL MEANING..

When a child gets Christianed – that is the parents way of giving their child back to God and the child is usually no older than 2 months old.

Then you figure when the kids are between the ages of 5 to 12 again it is the parents way of trying to rear and guide their children since they are NOW OF AGE and ” somewhat ” have an understanding of what it is to live for Christ.

Then between the ages of  14 to 18 the parent almost scares the kids into holiness or hell and the teenagers want to get baptized out of mostly fear instead of understanding / being taught the wrath of God as well as the LOVE of God. Parents are so afraid that their kids will become rebellious, sexual, tap into drugs etc..etc. but fear only works on a temporary basis!

Then when a person becomes an adult and they realized that THEY need to take the right steps without “mommy or daddy ” coaching them into doing what is right. Because, we love our kids but they certainly have to CHOOSE and make this decision on their own!

Again – this way makes sense TO ME –

Saturday Morning Moment

“A friend is one who believes in you when you have ceased to believe in yourself”. This quote aptly describes the role that a friend plays in your life. Friends are the ones who are always there for you, whether the times are good or bad. They never leave your side, even in the worst of circumstance. When you are sitting with a friend, you don’t feel the need to say words. He/she understands even you silence. Still, many people fail to recognize the importance of friends in their life. In the following lines, we have explained why friends are important and what role do they play in our life.

Friends are always there for us, to laugh with us in the happy times and to provide us with a shoulder, when we feel like crying. They serve as one of the biggest supports in our life.

Friends are amongst those few people who accept us, rather like us, as we are. They never come into our life, expecting us to change for them. However, they do correct us when we are at fault.

It is said that whether you need to hear the bitter truth about yourself, go to your best friend. He/she will never lie to you, just to please you and win your favors. What he/she says is the truth about you.

You can always count on your friends, whether you need any advice or any help. They will shy away from none. The best part is that a friend’s advice will always be for your betterment, whether it hurts you or pleases you.

After family, friends are the one who care for you. They bring a smile on your face when you are sad and they go out of the way to make things alright for you. Friends are the ones with whom we can share our darkest secrets, without being worried of them being leaked. They acknowledge our worst ideas and try to fulfill our silliest of wishes.

Friends feel happy at your success and sad at your failure. They share all your feelings and make you feel that there is somebody who still cares for you. When you have friends, you never ever feel lonely. Friends love you and care for you. They always make you feel special and never expect anything in return, other than your love and friendship. They stay true to you throughout their lives……

Process

Process are steps that we need to take to get to the goal….

After the prophetic word is spoken about your life…. your fall out…you cry…you run around the church maybe 3 times and almost fall asleep on the altar because your body is so tired but your spirit is overjoyed that you loose energy.

Nonetheless, after all of the spiritual carnival activities – you have to GET UP and keep living! Truth is that there will always be situations adn fire storms that seem to pop up from nowhere but prayer will keep you ready and give you the strength that YOU WILL NEED to endure it!

Now what are you going to do? Just because you have obtained victory does NOT mean that you have an opportunity to STOP or even take a break. You cannot because while YOU are on your break your enemy is utilizing the time that you are resting on to add more damage to your life.

Gather yourself mentally ……maintain a stance of preparation and surround yourself with Godly counsel because no matter how strong you think that you are….. no one can do this walk of Christ alone!
