Maybe It’s ME –

There is just something very AWKWARD about this photo and what it is suppose to mean! LOL – What does this interesting pose stand for in this photo? It makes me take a pause-

Okay I know that 2012 means that this is the CURRENT year that we are living in …… but what message are they trying to convey exactly and who is their target audiences? (not me)

Okay I do get that the African American man on the right is the current president of the United States and the Caucasion/ Anglo Saxon  man on the left is the current Vice President of the United States. ugghh –

What I do not get is why they are both standing together with the year 2012 above their heads!

LOL – Are they both trying to say that they are the BEST choice for this country in November?

UGGGHHHH – compared to Mitt Romney and his new running mate, Paul Ryan…..I guess that this photo does represent a SEMI – CHANCE of a normal life. Sad thing is that on the Democratic side, there were NO other options because no one else stepped up to run against President Obama…..

It is just very strange because any and everyone has had complaints on how he has run this country but no one came forward to try to make a difference on the Democratic side….

Sure, I do know that running a campaign at this stature can be a strain and cause a very substaintial pinch in a candidates personal finances – however there are some that had the finances but obviously felt that it “was not worth it” at this point in time to challenge him and his “colorful policies”…… ( can someone help me send SMOKE SIGNALS ) because this country is in dire need of help in all aspects of the forum.

ugghhh- Now tell me again why we cannot change legislation to allow a president to be voted in for a 3rd term if THE PEOPLE elect him or her?  Also, does anyone know how to contact former Congressman J.C.Watts, Governor Christie and former New York City Mayor Guliani?

– Live from Afghanistan!

I want to get excited because the leader of the country that I live in is on television to give the nation a speech about new things that he has done – currently in the process of doing and will be doing in the future.

President Barack Obama (ABC)

Yawwwwwwning and Yawwwwwing some more! LOL – Welp folks, SORRY – I am so NOT excited to watch him on television. My muslim / Christian  president is a very interesting man. Consistency and Transparency would be wonderful things for him to display…… I understand that the 8 years BEFORE he was elected into the White House was very hard to deal with. However, in 4 years – and another election coming up – I DO NOT have any reason to pull the lever by his name for 2012!

Dear President Bill Clinton,

Can you try to push to amend legislation about how many terms that a president is able to serve because I miss you! Now granted, a great deal of people still have you as a tainted president due to your marital transgressions against your wife and I am NOT condoning what you like other politicians have done. HOWEVER – This country’s statistics do not lie and you obtained financial freedom and pushed a great deal of legislation to get passed for the betterment of ALL people especially minorities – so thank you. ( The African American Community still have you pinned as the 1st Black President and you know why ) Anyway, I am positive that you have also thought about wishing that the bi -laws were different  via presidency as well because watching your wife Hillary Clinton in her present position is as close as you will get to running The White House Affairs.

Dear Congressman J.C. Watts,

Your record is simply amazing! Although you retired and hung up your hat / your seat due to your desire to spend more time with your family was an honorable thing to do – please know that American Citizens outside of OKLAHOMA supported you!

You changed the conservative look in The Republican Party and who would of thought that a speech that where you were just “simply being yourself” and showing that you were just as educated and ambitious as anyone else who took the time to study and believe in themselves could sweep you through tons of State House Committee Boards to change various pieces of legislation. When you gave The Republican Response back in 1997 after President Bill Clinton spoke – MY HAIRS stood up behind my neck! Whew… and people think that this current President, Barack Obama is a great Orator, they obviously have never heard you speak. Well wait… alot of people may not even have heard of you because you are black and a republican – but that does not matter because I have experienced that as well. Why do all African Americans HAVE TO BE REGISTERED DEMOCRATS? Just a question to ponder!

Now granted, you did stir up the initial process to IMPEACH President Clinton and I cannot hold any ill feelings about you for that. Nonetheless, you indeed have proven over the many terms that you were in office that you not only start processes but also complete them. Thank you for sticking with YOUR OWN VIEWS when you chose not to join The Black Caucas.

Dear Governor Chris Christie,

I know that you LOVE running the state of New Jersey but you know that you would have knocked Mitt Romney out of the running. You know legislation like the back of your hand, you are fair and speak up without fear of retaliation from either political party and I love it! By the way, the slack that you took via lowering the flags when singer Whitney Houston died did not sway you from your decision. Although, I did agree with the majority of the people on their initial reasoning of why they did NOT want you to grant the lovely Miss Houston with that honor but I admired the fact that you “heard the people and their opinions” but still stuck with yours to lower the flags. Hey, it is ultimately your decision because it was indeed the people who elected you to run the state of New Jersey.

Dear Mayor Rudy Guiliani,

God knows that America – mainly the city of New York City adores you on and before the strength and leadership that you showed on 911 but why would you run two other terms and keep dropping out? Your wife wants you home with her and the kids and I respect that but I want you to know that you would not have to campaign too hard to win a presidential nominee from the Republican Party. Not so much that the part affiliation matters because I have discovered as well as you, that Tea Party, Democrats, Conservatives, Moderates and Liberals love you! However, I know that you are bored and have millions of money to blow but please stop being seen with Mitt Romney. You have not suppported him the whole campaign season so what are you doing? Let the people know okay?

Respectfully Submitted,

A Supporter for 4 Different Great Presidential Potentials!

Women and Politics

I am finding more organizations who are promoting women in politics. It should be imperative for women of all ages, colors and classes to increase the  awareness of  women in the political process and  support women for  election to  public office.  Political Party Affiliation does not matter as well….  Regardless of party affiliation, congressional women deliver more federal projects to their home districts and sponsor and co-sponsor more legislation than their male colleagues. In a study that was recently published in The American Journal of Political Science, researchers from Stanford University and the University of Chicago attributed women’s political success not to some innate political instinct but to the fact that it’s really hard for us to get elected (there are currently 360 men and 75 women in the House; 83 men and 17 women in the Senate). They theorize that women feel immense pressure to measure up, so instead of meeting expectations, we surpass them.

Women 4 Women stand in Politics

Since 1848 Women have struggled for equal rights in the political arena  beginning with the first women’s rights convention in Seneca Falls, New  York. Two days later 68 women and 32 men signed the Declaration of  Sentiments outlining grievances setting the agenda for the women’s  rights movement! ( NOT FEMINIST ) There is indeed a DIFFERENCE between Women’s Rights and Feminists Rights! The average woman does not want to be discriminated against via pay and elevation in career goals and educational objectives because of her sex. However, Feminist want all rights period – if she can lift 10 cars and dig 10 ditches like a man she want to “run against him” for the same job.

Now some may say that is equality…. but I say NOT SO!!! That is equality – with a spin! That is something that in today’s market the media would call spinning….. Women’s Rights / Women’s Movement does not need to be stretched… We want to be LADIES and respected as women in power positions regardless what they are. However, we do not desire to fit into a man’s role and become aggressive “just for the cause of it”…….

Interesting Thinking For Today…

“I’m not a Republican because I grew up rich. I’m a Republican because I didn’t want to spend the rest of my life poor, waiting for the government to rescue me” quoted by Mike Huckabeee. Now I am not holding or carrying a sign with Huckabee’s name on it, but just like anyone else…. he has made some bad statements as well as some good ones. I would like to throw the opening statement in the pile with the good ones. He surely has dropped the ball on color during an intereview via a very racial Obama comment. Nonetheless, my own race makes rude comments about one another everyday and Im able to still FIND and SEE the good in them as well so go figure!

“I recognize the Republican party as the sheet anchor of the colored man’s political hopes and the ark of his safety. “Fredrick Douglas

1.  You cannot bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift.
2.  You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong
3.  You cannot help the poor man by destroying the rich.
4.  You cannot further the brotherhood of man by inciting class hatred.
5.  You cannot build character and courage by taking away man’s initiative and independence.
6.  You cannot help small men by tearing down big men.
7.  You cannot lift the wage earner by pulling down the wage payer.
8.  You cannot keep out of trouble by spending more than your income.
9.  You cannot establish security on borrowed money.
10  You cannot help men permanently by doing for them what they will not do for themselves.”

“Critics of modern-day black Republicans tend to regard the likes of Powell, Rice, Steele, Thomas and even me as being out of step with black thinking. Yet when viewed in the light of the historic values and aspirations of black Americans, being black and Republican makes perfect sense. Ours is the party that believes in the individual — individual rights, equal opportunity, private enterprise. We are the party that long has championed ground-breaking public education reforms such as vouchers and charter schools, which are especially well-suited to at-risk children in our nation’s most troubled schools. And we are the party that stands up for the unborn, including the countless black babies snuffed out by the scourge of abortion every year.

These are values that square well with the core sentiments of the black community. What really stands between so many black Americans and the Republican Party is the smoke and mirrors of a seductive big government that promises the world but delivers only more empty promises.” Ed Jones

“I reject the concept of dividing Americans into victimized groups and pandering to them. Besides, the Democrats are masters of insulting the intelligence of Americans by playing the old and tattered victim, race, and class envy cards. The GOP does not need to go down the same shameful, disgusting road.

Admittedly, there are issues which are devastating the black community: high numbers of out-of-wedlock births, epidemic school dropout rates, and 50% of black babies aborted. But these problems should not be dealt with from the standard Democrat “white folks don’t care” or “it’s whitey’s fault” or “let’s throw more money at it” point of view. The mess in the black community is proof of the utter failure of Democrat-enforced liberalism and not holding people accountable. ” Llyod Marcus

“Americans chose a free enterprise system designed to provide a quality of opportunity, not compel a quality of results. And that is why this is only place in the world where you can open up a business in the spare bedroom of your home.

That is why this is the only place in the world where a company that started as an idea drawn out on the back of a cocktail napkin can one day be publicly traded on Wall Street. That’s why this is the only country in the world where today’s employee is tomorrow’s employer. And yet, there are still people in American politics who, for some reason, cling to this belief that America is better off adopting the economic policies of nations whose people who immigrate here from there.”~Marco Rubio

“The Democrats say that the United States has had its days in the sun, that our nation has passed its zenith. They expect you to tell your children that the American people no longer have the will to cope with their problems, that the future will be one of sacrifice and few opportunities. My fellow citizens, I utterly reject that view.” — Ronald Reagan

*****Like I have always stated….shared….written about…spoke about – It is NOT more so about the political party that you are apart of or affiliated with…… it is more so about the individual that you are supporting when you pull the LEVER! I am a Republican who sometimes gets “semi – obsessed” with former president Bill Clinton. Why?, because I am looking at the man and his viewpoints / stances etc for life overall and living here in America not because he is apart of the Democratic Part.

Let’s just face it – say it and get it out in the open.. Republicans spend TOO little and Democrats spend TOO much!

“If the Supreme Court says that you have the right to consensual (gay) sex within your home, then you have the right to bigamy, you have the right to polygamy, you have the right to incest, you have the right to adultery, … You have the right to anything. Does that undermine the fabric of our society? I would argue yes, it does.”Rick Santorum ( he is a little off kilter “now days” ) but love his values

Research shows children living with their married biological parents are less likely to abuse alcohol and drugs more likely to achieve college degrees get better jobs and have happy marriages. Why ignore facts? Also, this is NOT to say that children who grow up in  a 2 parent household will keep them from buying, doing, selling narcotics, won’t finish high school, become a pregnant teenager and any other negative thing that can sometimes happen during their growing tween and teen childhood years. Nonetheless, the liberal view has no right or wrong only tolerance or intolerance diversity or narrow minded. They believe traditional morality and virtue are unfair in parenting one’s own children. Liberals believe in no fault freedom only achieved by eliminating the family or rendering meaningless.”
