Dissatisfaction Random

We’ve been taught to believe that dissatisfaction is a bad thing, and that we should do everything possible to avoid it. Shove it down. Ignore it. Act like it doesn’t bother us. Take a pill. Plaster on a smile. Buy something new, or decide that misery is part of “bearing our cross.” But above all, don’t consider that God might be using it to make us uncomfortable so we’ll want to swim in another ocean where our gifts can shine.

Don’t get me wrong; dissatisfaction can be a result of spiritual warfare (Eph. 6:10-12) and not an indication that we are out of God’s will. But it can also be a road sign that He has another purpose for us.

So if you’re miserable in your current career or job, (and you have been for a long time), you’ve prayed, sought counsel from others, looked for guidance through Scripture, and you’re still miserable, consider that God may have another plan.

Prayer 4 Struggles

Father God we come before you in humbleness, kneeling and praying asking for your mercy and assurance as we are passing through many difficult doorways in life.  There are many around the world in circumstances and situations that seem unbearable.  …

We are assured in knowing we will overcome these troubles as our Redeemer Jesus Christ sets beside our Heavenly Father.   We place our trust and faith in Him.  Praise the name of Jesus. Father our mind and spirit knows of the anguish that without your presence we would fall away and be lost forever.   We are perplexed to understand how a person could pass through life’s experiences without having the knowledge that a Loving Heavenly Father walks alongside them.

How could a person reach the end of life seeing darkness and the emptiness that lays beyond without the Hope of someday being in our Heavenly Fathers presence.

Father we are at peace and rest in the knowledge that although these times of trouble now are in our lives; this is only a moment in time as that Hope and Assurance of your Eternal Glory awaits each of us as we will share eternity in your presence. These times of trouble will pass.  Praise be to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the King of Kings, and Lord of Lord.

We thank you Father for providing us with a Savior, Our Lord Jesus Christ.  In Jesus’ precious name.  Amen Marvin R. McKimSee More
