A Great Part of My Day

Was taking a break in the mall and sitting in a chair trying to get my MASTER PLAN together so I would be focused and not OVER SPEND as usual! Lo and behold, here walks in my niece whom I have not seen in ummmmm….. I shall not say how long it has been but ……..It’s wonderful when you KNOW you have a few folk who love you for “REAL”…No strings attached, no hidden agendas or motives…they love you for you, with all your faults, &  all your idiosyncrasies because they see the “essence” of who you are, and you can be “just plain ol’ you” with them, without all the “stuff”…Man, true LOVE from true FOLKS is an awesome thing…deeeep siiiiiigh… Seeing her REALLY made my whole weekend worth staying in my tri- state area! Grateful to see her and blessed to share and swap stories of LIFE and knowing that we have and had shared a great deal of similarities was just astonishing…..

We laughed..talked…..I cried….we hugged….we paused in silenced…we flirted..we cracked jokes…we mini complained and lifted up Jesus!

yeah – I am talking about my lovely niece  and she is an amazing 26 year old young woman who loves God….shopping….family…music…cats…ME and LIFE!

There are a few people who I KNOW loves me without a million questions that I  must ask first…. what am I doing these days… where have I been etc.. they are just glad to see me and that I am doing AMAZING!……

OKAY – the moral to this quick blog is to tell you to ……enjoy people who desire to enjoy you back!

Relationships

Ms. Della!

I have known this little nice lady for over a year and even at her old age she is challenged by so many things and they seem to find a way to break her down most days. She has shown me how to be more compassionate in dealing with “certain situations” with women with a past like hers. It is VERY easy sometimes to judge others when you are unaware of what the whole situation may be. I have had the pleasure of ministering with Ms. Della and it has changed my life FOR THE BETTER.

The inescapable fact in life is that, one-day, we will become an elder and HOPEFULLY we will have someone to take care of us!

However, the importance of respecting elders should not just be for that reason. We should give respect to elders for a number of reasons. Not least of these is that at least two of our elders brought us into this world, and they nurtured, cared and educated us until we were able to fly the nest and care for ourselves.

Most elders have invested a lot of time and effort into making our lives better, providing us with opportunities and been there to share in our joys and sorrows.

In addition to this, people who have been around this world a lot longer than us have a lot to offer. They have acquired knowledge and wisdom, which if respected they are willing to share with us. They have also had experiences and therefore can help to guide us through problems that may arise in out life.

Finally, we should treat our elders, and all other people we come into contact with, with the respect that we would want them to extend to us.

Dear ( ME )

Today

The decision to ask God for His help is MY greatest source of #wisdom, strength and courage!!

That is my thought for the moment but my standard for life…..

Today was a really mellow, productive and relaxing and the flow is indeed blessing me.

I feel very loved and appreciated right through here and it feels nice.

I was chatting with a girl pal a few hours ago and she was sharing her dating story with me and to say the least……it was yet another interesting event!!

We talked about on line dating again and then I realized that no matter what avenue it is via dating that what is suppose to be, will be! (Regardless how it comes )

I am not against blind dates or the online dating concept……However dishonesty and lack of integrity I am against but sometimes you cannot obtain some clues until the (chatting) actually transpires!

I totally FORGOT the whole purpose of this initial blog but at least I had a good day!

Peace….Love….Loyalty and Honor

Dear ( ME )

1. Describe yourself in one word.

Proactive

2. Favorite childhood memory

They all stem around my father and brother Lamonte

3. Best accomplishment/moment of triumph.

Getting over what people wanted for MY LIFE :)

4. Your current job and what you wanted to be while growing up

I am a Drug and Alcohol Case Manager and it is NOTHING that I ever desired to be. However, it is ministry to me so it feels like I am getting paid to come to church everyday and minister. I wanted to be a Politician and a Lawyer. ( Still is not too late ) I work in the political arena still

5. Something that you are good at skill wise

Website Creativity, Administration, Marketing. :)

6. Name one self invented superstition

Showing people how smart you are backfires because it makes THEM lazy and unappreciative of what you can offer on a PAID basis

7. A real life story that you would definitely tell ur kids someday .

Help my 18 year old twins of every incident of cruelty that have showed toward me and other family members :)  ( LOL )

8. Name one regret that you have.

One? Only? Sigh……I HAVE MORE THAN ONE! However, I wish I that I would have joined the Air Force when my kids were 4 years old :(

9. If you had to change one thing about yourself, what would it be?

I have MORE than one thing being honest but to choose only ONE – I would have to say knowing when to take bigger risks / learning to accept help :)

10. Something that scares you?

Not having the ability to create and be productive and NOT MAKING IT INTO HEAVEN

11. An experience that changed your life.

Dropping and changing my whole life as I knew it without even thinking about the consequenses in 30 days to take care of my mother

#mademethink

Kind of glad that I did it! LOL

Helping Self...

Flexibility

My circle of friends are so small that you have to have the FLEXIBILITY of a mouse to get through…. im so serious… even those who think that they are in… are dealing with surface reality because God does not allow foolishness to attach to anything that is not like him…

so if im striving to stay pure and holy…  anything that counteracts what God is trying to maintain in my life wont live beyond the dust…

people and places do not always go together…. they may have a divine connection but does not mean that they are meant to be linked up for the LONG HAUL…..

how flexible are you going to be when God calls you out to the masses?… you cant be flexible and have tons of “hang ups” at the same time…. your flexibility kills all the hang ups that you would normally have ( if you are in this for the right reason )

you dont have to be called to heal the nations, set all the captives free, bring massive legislation to pass, be the pillar of the community, be the all american parent but you have to be realize what you were at least called to do so you can be an assest..

if your unaware of what your purpose is…your really not an asset but a mere hinderance… that is why it is imperative that you find out asap…  drop your pride and link up with someone who can assist you
